I went to abyss for the first time in 3 years last night. What happened to that place. It was the first time that I saw the renovations and in my opinion, I don't like it. granted, there is more space and it doesn't seem to get as packed. It just has this factory look to it. I feel that the place lost the vibe that it used to have in the old set up. the music was good. Manny was playing some hard shit. I believe he was even fucking around with a Chicago song. another thing....whats up with the crowd.....it used to be packed in there....was it just an off night?

you need 60 college credits to become a cop and in most other states you need a 4 year degree. It was a hell of a lot easier to become a cop 10-20 years ago then it is now. They go through shit loads of pysch tests and physicals. The same with the fire Department. you need 30 college credits, you need to be CFR-D certified (one step below an EMT), go through medical & pysch tests, and then the hardest physical in the country. The FDNY physical is no joke. People have died trying to do it. It was seriously the hardest thing that I have done.
