You dont remember danny playing at metro cause you probably did not care. You are probabley a "jump on the wagon" dt fan proobably starting from last winter at the conference when he played at space. For your information, the last time he played at metro was around a year ago.

I think that bastards post was refering to danny tenaglia playing at metro lounge. Danny played at metro lounge 3 times over the last couple of years. Alot of you people who just heard of danny , like last week , probably never even new that. For all you current metro heads, if you were at metro when danny spun, you would have really seen how sick metro was.

Are you guys nuts? You can hear the same exact mixes every saturday at world. Nothing against denny, but he plays the same shit everytime. Same mixes. Everytime i go to world, it is the exact same play set. Why do i go........ cause the crowd is GOOD!!!! I know there are about 3 of you on this board that think the crowd are all dennys fans, but you could not possibly think they are there cause of denny. They are there cause of the crowd, and the club itself. The only bad thing that people say about world is the music. Ask around guys, and you will see. As far as tempts goes, if i remember correctly, wasnt this board filled all summer asking , "what happened to denny" "why does denny suck" "what is denny playing?" I am not judging him but didnt everyone think he has been horrible. I think the only night he came through was the last night, and i was there,yes he was better that night then he was all summer.

I missed last night at metro, so tonight we are starting off at metro, they are having a live show of one of my favorite songs("you take my breath away") and then we are going to factory....anyone else?

Surreal is actually a very big group overseas and they are great performers. Unlike some of the other typicial bullshit shows that we see all the time. I am surprised no one has brought them here yet. Ill be there.

Why do you keep calling it metro south? Even the people that work there have no clue what it gonna be called. For some reason they seem to be very secretive about it. Either way, im sure it willl be the bomb, whatever it is called. Seaside really does need something new and fresh. Metro is just the place it needs. Upscale crowd, good hard music.

My friend said she was in the mall and someone gave her a flyer for this sat at metro lounge. She said it was a special night with 3 international djs.I did not get a flyer in the mail, i am on the mailing list, did anyone hear anything about it? I hope its true, i would love to hear some good tec house/tribal on that system at metro.Any info would be appreciated.

METRO LOUNGE......NO DOUBT!Over all it is way ahead of everything else. I also used to really likeGREEN MAN LOUNGE in hobooken, even though it is not a big club, i thought it was pretty cool. I like tempts in the summer, but last year got real tired.Tempts is really corney. Denny has his moments.What makes the shore good is that people lose there minds and go crazy all weekend long, that adds alot to the club. Drugs also help.....

I made it to METRO at around 2am.The place was off the hook.I got news for you guys,there is no place in jersey the even comes close to metro. I brought in the new year at BUNKA and i expected a really good night. I think bunka is a good club usually, but the last 2 times i was there it was weak. The music , the crowd, just isnt the same. Anyway, a group of 10 of us got tickets for new years and we went. WHAT A MAJOR DISSAPOINTMENT. It was not even half full and it cleared out right after midnight.We were gonna try abyss but we pulled up and talked to people leaving and they said it sucked inside. So we left. Headed up the parkway to metro, pulled up, spotlights all over the place and the place was packed. We had to park all the way at the end of the buildind next door(that really sucked! had to walk in the freezing cold, how about valet parking METRO ?) Anyway, Got inside....this is what new years is supposed to look like, and better yet sound like. Music was hard, crowd was goodlooking ,dressed well, sound system was off the hook, and everyone was wacked!( including us). We stayed till about 8. Still people there when we left. Good ending to a bad night.

I will be there after with about 40 people after around 1 or 2 am. Does anyone know how much it will be after the open bar is closed? And, is john trana performing all night?

This is just to let everyone know...."Ducati" screen name is really lisa todaro, who works at club abyss. And yes her and the rest of her staff were at metro lounge this past friday ( which is kind of funny dont ya think,isnt abyss open on fridays?) And lisa, i know you and i think it is wrong for you to try to knock a club that doing great on a night that your club isnt.Every one has their own "good" night.Abyss was known for "wednesdays". Whatever.....If metro is so bad, why were you and your people handing out cards to everyone and telling them to come down to abyss on friday.And you know this is true and i do also,2 of your people gave me a card.If you are trying to promote or somthing, fine. I promote in jersey and in the city. But dont you realize how bad it looks that you and your staff was there handing out cards. Dont you realize that alot of people know you and see what you are doing. Is it just a coinsidence that you were at metro this week and the owners of abyss was at metro last friday. Even people from this board saw him. I wonder why you guys were there.....Having an opinion is fine, and i dont know you that well, but my friend that promotes for you does,and he was with you friday, how come he was telling me he had a great time? I just think it was pretty lame of you to knock the place, you and your staff must have been there for a reason dont ya think? I know alot of bullshit goes on between clubs and stuff but i dont even think you are in competition, abyss is like an hour away isnt it?My friend is a bartender there and thinks its a great club. So do i, and so do alot of other people that live in north jersey. Stay in south jersey if you dont agree and concentrate on bringing in business to your own club.Abyss asked this board for opinions, i hope they listen.
