A group of us are looking to go to the Hamptons for a weekend this summer. I have never been there and was wondering what are the best hotels and locations. We are definitely looking to hit CPIs, Brazil, and Neptunes as well. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. ------------------

Relax my friend...simply stating something that I had heard and from a very reliable source. This is supposedly not a temporary move. Although I have not heard Frankie Magz Dj nor do I doubt that he is good I'm just questioning why both DJs have decided to part from Exit...that's all. ------------------

I agree Transit has a sweet set up. It almost reminds me of a mini-exit with the snow falling from the sky. Transit does have the potential but Shampoo still brings in the headliners. Case and point this Thursday w/Baez and Plasmic. Not enough air time for these beasts to spin. All in all things are looking up in Philly. ------------------

A fellow JPM employee. Good to see you are hard at work like me. I am Philly area transplant myself and I live in the Midtown area on the East Side. Once you get a taste of Manhatten your not gonna wanta leave my friend. Stay away from the Upper East Side... its mostly frat boys/girls running around from bar to bar. ------------------

Shampoo was insane on Saturday with Tronco and Viscious spinning till 6 am. Thursday nights at Shampoo Plasmic Honey is the resident DJ for the summer and this week Edie Baez from Exit will be there as well. Transit is not a bad alternative for Friday Nights plus AC is just short drive away for the grand-daddy of all clubs - Bedlam. ------------------

Bedlam mania is upon us. This weekend marks the beginning of a new era for those non-New Yorkers, a chance to experience a NY style club in their own backyard. If this place lives up to the hype its going to be a special summer. And please Factory heads don't think you're gonna come to this joint and take it over.
