THE CURE are to re-record acoustic versions of some of their hit singles for their forthcoming 'GREATEST HITS' compilation. The group release their Greatest Hits album on November 12. A spokesperson for the group told NME.COM that the record will feature two brand new studio recordings from the group. In addition, the album will inirially be released as a limited edition double disc, with the extra record containing new, acoustic recordings of some of their "big hits". The Cure have snubbed persistant rumours of a split to return to the studio, and as a result the album will be preceded by a brand new single, 'Cut Here', which is released on October 29. The confirmed tracklisting for The Cure's Greatest Hits is: * 'Boys Don't Cry' * 'A Forest' * 'Let's Go To Bed' * 'The Love Cats' * 'The Caterpillar' * 'In Between Days' * 'Close To Me' * 'Why Can't I Be You?' * 'Just Like Heaven' * 'Lullaby' * 'Lovesong' * 'Pictures Of You' * 'Never Enough' * 'High' * 'Friday I'm In Love' * 'Mint Car' * 'Wrong Number' * 'Cut Here' * 'Just Say Yes'
