  1. not sure if this will work. it's just a tiny headshot. more of me is @ photos.yahoo.com/databoy99.....say hi if you ever see me. (i'm nicer and less confused than i usually look!) peace.... -sn
  2. sorry to get on the topic mad late, but i haven't been near a comp in a bit.... anywayz, just wanted to throw my hat in the rings as a bi indian boy. (though someone already mentioned my motto: sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't. propz!) i just wish people would get over their tired sexual issues. and get over there crazy misconceptions. i'm not a slut, but i can be, just like everyone else. i'm not on my way to becoming more gay. i don't hit on straight boys - i want a boy that wants a boy when i want a boy! i get annoyed with people that say they're cool and then flip switches later. and bi peeps are fully capable of holdin' down satisfying monogamous relationhips.... and to all the straight boys worried about being gay. whatevz. just be yourself, dance on, and you'll be hella happier than the fools stressing your sexuality. afterall, homophobia is just heterosexual insecurity (and the only straight guys that i can say i'm ever truly attracted to are the ones that are completely confident in their own sexuality. and trust me, girls pick up on this too....) sorry to vent, but i feel like bi boys never get any justice thanks for the topic though. one luv.....and say wuzzup if you ever see me out! photos.yahoo.com/databoy99. laterz.... -sn
  3. what exactly is in a "mini-thin"? i took one and it had the craziest effect on my body for three days, whereas my other friends took multiples and were only a lil' cracked out afterward. i have no reason why i popped something w/o asking, but we all have our idiot box momentz. anywayz, i just want to know why my body was so dysfunctional afterwards..... -sn
  4. this has nothing to do with the above "discussion", but i'll have to throw my vote in for vinyl. i'm a complete beginner turntablist, and mixing vinyl is hella harder than with cd's/mp3's (in my opinion). i prefer dj's that work with wax b/c i'm amazed with the skill level. (howevz, i think spinning hip-hop/reggae/slower beats is harder than w/ most electronica, or maybe i'm just a battle-dj junkie/wannabe ) this is probably a stupid question, but i know that you can burn digital files into cd's, but can you actually burn onto wax? i have a feeling the technology probably exists, but is it anywhere near economically feasible? (....and no, i'm not silly enough to start wholesale bootlegging wax; i just have a bunch of trax that either don't exist on wax or are outta print/ridiculously obscure.....) -sn
  5. another indo to add to the mix. representing the dirty south bangalore style of course, where all the pretty peoples reside anywho, i'm feeling the surprise factor that there are a decent amount of desi's on this board. i guess 'cuz i assume most of 'em are into the desi scene, which is soooo tired.....(except for mutiny, which me likes, but i don't really consider it to fit the typical indo-party mold)......peace.
  6. well the drinking/E combo makes me do the puking thing. but i was wondering whether something i saw in the atrocious movie groove (soooo painful to watch) actually works, namely eating an orange, or i guess anything else citrusy. and if it does work, why? or is it just a catalyst that makes it hit quicker, not harder or longer? -sn
  7. addition: me thinx i'll be wearing an ethnic indo ensemble and most of my friends are too hungover as we speak so i'll more than likely be there by my lonesome. so if you see me, say allo. peace. -sn
  8. well if you're talking 'bout body n' soul, say allo to the indo boy with platinum highlights if you see me. i should be somewhere in the mix one luv. -sn
  9. much respect. thanx for the advice. i especially like the garnier track...... -sn
  10. last week was off the hook, but then again, i'm a big fan of mutiny and the (south) asian underground scene. lotsa good indo influenced d&b, jungle, and what not. the last set by navdeep was off the hook.....the crowd was extremely diverse and friendly. everyone was there to have a good time, and PS1 has definitely got some good art up for when you're taking a breather.....the beach design theme is also pretty phat. hope that helps. -sn
  11. www.maddyfest.com hope that helps i wish body n' soul wasn't on the same day (and for that matter amazing grace), but i'll more than likely be at the after party which is at kurfew (i.e. tunnel) -sn
  12. thanx for the advice and the pix. now i just have to find a way to wake my lazy ass friends up, all of who claim they'll REALLY want to go, but will more than likely be hungover or cracked out and i so hope it doesn't rain. the only thing i'm kinda miffed about is that maddyfest is going on at the same but body n' soul is the obvious no brainer, even though i do have an affinity towards the material girl. (i really like the new vid ) -sn
  13. i'm looking for some good tribal tracks (or latin/ethnic tracks with a funky ethnic backbeat, i.e. not too crazy with the vocals). i've got the underground south asian/indo beat scene covered, but am oblivious as to names of anything else remotely electronic. can anyone throw some song titles around for me? i don't care how old skool they are (good music is good music)....your help would be most appreciated. thanx. -sn
  14. i missed it last year and i've heard how off the hook it was. i can only imagine. body n' soul with fresh air (if only they'd get some damn AC @ vinyl?!!!) so i know it starts @ 1:30. but now for my Q's: how long does it last, and how early do i have to get there to actually get in?.....shanti....... -sn p.s. and of course, who's going?
  15. in addition to the 80's music that most of you have hit on, my fav genre has to be dancehall reggae. from supercat n' ninja man up to beenie and spragga. it was my spring board into ragga jungle (anyone remember "original nuttah" by shy fx and uk apache?! ) and that led me into all other things "electronica"...... -sn
