how can u compare a song played at a club to what should be heard at a wedding for the bridal party??? BECAUSE THE MUSIC PLAYED AT THE WEDDING WAS WHAT THE BRIDE & GROOM WANTED - WE WERE THE ONES PAYING FOR IT SO WE CHOOSE WHAT WE WANT - of course the whole night was not club music - i have a very diverse selection of music that i enjoy and don;t say low class yo have no idea who i am or what i am about - i have never used coke or bumped in my life...
-
you get used to it - growing up i loved DJing Sweet 16 back in 88 it was disco and freestyle 90's freestyle, hip hop reggae and techno 2000's just about anything goes - reggatone, hip hop, reagge , house, etc
-
ACTUALLY NO BUT I DO DO SOEM WORK FOR THE DJ COMPANY THAT DJED HIS WEDDING - don;t clasify all of us to be one category from SI - what does where we come from have to do with anything i have djed more than 500 events in NJ - lot of SI djs rock Nj every week Richie santana - grew up around the corner from him and Sal Parm Peter bailey Anthony Acid Mike Ski - djed many weddings with him Joe Ferdico etc just becuase you don't agree with what i wrote doesn;t make me right or worng - if you were a prospective client i would tailor you event the way you want it... Just so happens that the origianl post was asking for idea and it had a lot of disco classics -

why is the 9000 $500.00 more than the 6000? DO they consider that the better unit?
-
thank you i appreciate your input
-
ok right now i am using two Denon DND400 cd decks... I want to upgrade to a newer model. I have used the 9000 and love it but aslo have seen the 6000. The 6000 has a cd feed feature and the 9000 has the cd draws. Do you think that the draws are more durable than the feed unit. I am thinking atleast if the draws get stuvck i can manually remove them.. But if a cd gets stuck in teh fron feed i have to open the unit up to get it out
-
i know that Sal Parm actually does some of the sound and voice overs on the toys also
-
QSC MX700 its an older model - i have it about 10 years now
-
i have no doubt that the self powered speakers can get the job done - i am just worried about amp failure in the speaker. I did a wedding at the Venitian last month with two self powered Yorkville tops and two self powered Yorkville subs.. The sound wa sincredible.
-
i have a qsc 700 and a Crown CE2000
-
ok dumb question how do i know if my amp has a "through" out put?
-
i used the Mackie 450's a few times with another company that i do side work for - but i am worried if the amp goes out in the speaker then i am stuck with one speaker... atleast if i use passive speakers and on side of my amp goes out i can use two speakers on one side or use my back up amp... Am i able to hook a powered speaker up to a regular power amp?
-
Upgrading my system... I see a lot of other companies are now using self powered speakers (Mackie, JBL Eons etc) What do you prefer - passive or self powered and what speaker do you recommend.
-
i remeber being at either Hunka or Abyss when him and Anthony Acid were promoting MDMA 2 - I realized then it was more than just being a DJ - it was show bussiness. I have to say i have heard better and have heard much worse. Skribbs is can rock the tables with hip hop and also drop a good house set. His name is big and that sells a lot also, his toy line, auto shop and his productions. Can't be a hater to a guy who is successful in his profession.
