  1. yep lola's got that great la attitude!

    she lives in florida!

Even more pathetic. She lives in Florida but finds the time to post wise ass comment on the LA section of club planet.

  2.

There is a scene, which we carry, that goes to 3, and one that goes til the sunshine. Every thing is here in LA, just have to find it :)

I need more help than this.. You seem to know of the place I am in search of. If you could give me some more info on the party that runs the latest in the morning I would appreciate it..

  3. Club Larchmont "last man standing" goes off every Sat and Sunday morning from 6am - ??? I like AHP once in a while, I agree with you guys that the scene there is not of the best, but it does remind me of NYC clubs a lil. When I moved here I was in shock that there's no clubs like in NYC, but then I got used to it. I really miss SF and Twilo good ol days :dj:

Nice...Where is Club Larchmont located? What is the crowd like? Yea, never thought I would miss seeing the JP Shuffle... Sasha and Diggers once a month at Twilo was insane..Use to have to drag me out of there....

  6. It sucks that their are no good afterhour spots. Once in awhile it is good to get out to those "shady" places. Nothing beats the feeling that you get walking into the club in the early hours of the morning. The sun is starting to come up, it's quiet outside exept for the pounding bass coming out of the club. Then finally getting in and seeing this whole other world that exists. RIS...

  7. Recently moved out here from NY. Looking for a good afterhours spot that plays House on Friday's and Saturday's in LA. I know about Avalon but thats about it.

Use to go to clubs like Soundfactory(before it got shutdown) Arc/Vinyl Spirit, Crobar.... Thanks in advance.

what's even funnier is that some people think that...

    seriously...

Have you ever seen the movie Reefer Madness? It is really amazing what people think will happen to you if you smoke pot. They show people going absolutely crazy. Me I can't get off my couch for the next 2 hours. Lifting the remote even becomes a challenge.

But the gun manufacturers are not the ones doing background checks. They sell them to licensed gun dealers who are then responsible for doing the background check. In many states like NY your County, State and Federal agencys all do checks on the individual buying the gun. It is not up to the gunmaker they are just manufacturing the product.

Example Someone driving recklessly kills someone. Does the family have the right sue the automaker? No. (Lets also assume for arguments sake the car was checked out and it was not defective in anyway) The only person that can be sued is the person who was driving.

and for all the people here that support our current administration and use psychotropic substances, how do you reconcile your support of this administration, and its radical views on drugs (john walters, john ashcroft...)...

and especially the last campaign "if you do drugs, you support terrorism"...

    i'm just curious...

so for the paranoid ones out there, please don't take it as a personal attack...;)

like i said, i'm just curious...

I can't speak for anyone but myself. However I support the current administration because I agree with more of their views than other parties views. For example I am pro-choice, Bush is not. However I felt he could protect us the best out of any of the candidates. I also feel that even though is isn't pro-choice he isn't going to make abortions illegal. That would guaranity him not getting re-elected. I also feel though that no matter what if a Republican or a Democrat are in office they are going to approach Drugs on the level that Drugs are bad mmmkkkay.. At this point I don't feel many administrators are going to be to lenient on drugs because it is a very touchy subject that can destroy their whole administration. I feel in maybe 20 years or so when people from our generation begin to get higher positions in the government that this will change. It appears to me that our generation is more open to drugs and realizes that if you smoke some weed your not going to take an axe and murder your whole neighborhood.

And that was part of what legitimized this war in the 1st place.

Nope I don't think it is a problem at all. The Iraqies have gotten to experience freedom for the first time. That in my mind makes this war totally legitimate. It is going to take sometime to find the WMD. As of today they think they have found 2 possible sites. One which was mobile.

Why if we prove they had it all along then we were right. If not who cares.. The people of Iraq are liberated. Look how happy they were. I feel like some people take freedom for granted.

Nothing because of the 70% of Americans who supported this war 80% of them said that they don't care if WMD are found. A good majority of the supporters of this war were looking past the WMD. They also saw a potential threat to the US and also saw the conditions that the Irqaies had to live in under Saddam. I mean I felt really happy to see those people dancing around in the streets. That alone makes this whole campaign worthwhile They have never felt such freedom before. Makes me think how lucky I trully am to live in America.

did i ever said you were talking about the l.a. times?...

i'm giving you an example of how pushing this "pro-gov't is the only way" is dangerous and translates into immediate false information...

    just forget it man...

You go on Ranting and Raving about how the Gov't controls all of our media. That there is no seperation like there is in France. I gave you an example of the NY Times of how the gov't doesn't control our media. You then send some picture of the LA Times and a picture that is manipulated. All you did was avoid the question. Just like the French were avoiding the problem in Iraq.

You probably think the US gov't has you on some hit list right now because you are speaking out against it on CP. Is that new person sitting next to you really Jim from accounting or a CIA operative gathering information on you?
