  1. I'm listening right now, I'm at work though so I can't really bump it but I'm liking it! Nice Work...It really captures the style that I have been totally feeling for a while!!!

Based on the other set descriptions I dl'd Practical Sessions 1 & 2 and Soupy Mess. I sampled them and they are pretty good too. I can't wait to hear them on my system later so I can get the full effect with bass and all.

  2. The place Urban is talking about is called Halloween Adventure and they have a site where you can check out some of their costumes. I think they also have seasonal stores that open up in New Jersey too. I bought my costume from the one in the city and they really had a huge selection.

There is also another place in the city called Ricky's that has some decent costumes.

  3. Just wanted to thank everyone for all of your great replies :) You've all been a big help!

thats the weekend of my bday steve. booo.

Sorry bout that...it was the only weekend I could go. What do you have going on this year?

As far as restaurants.....how much $ are we talking here? gimme a price range to work with, cuz they run the gamut on price.

    I guess I would prefer a $20-$25 entree range.

I just thought of a couple of other questions. I am assuming that all the clubs are like $25 to get in?? Is it really difficult to get in to a lot of these places??

    Thanks again!

  4. Hi,

I'm going to Miami for the first time with my girl and we'll be there on a Fri, Sat, and Sun night. We're going in the beginning of May.

Can you guys recommend a list of the must see clubs and lounges for a first time visit? I am more into EDM than my girl so I would prefer a mixed list of places with some that just play EDM and some that just play Hip-Hop. My music preferences would be House or Tribal and Tech if there are any good Tech spots.

Also, what are some really good restaurants down there?

Thanks a lot for all of your replies!

  5. Well I just got into techno in the past 6 months and I would like to find some places that spin that genre. I know there's a few places on weeknights but I haven't heard of any parties that are on the weekends aside from the one's that have been at arc recently.

  6. I just downloaded the JP Live set from April, the one with White Rabbit.

The set starts out with that track "Who Said" that has the lyrics

"I've never been to the U.S.A.

    I'm a slave on a minimum wage

    Detroit, New York and L.A.

But I'm stuck in the U.K."

Anyway I am looking for an ID to the third song in the set, the song starts around 9:00 min and it has a bassline and synths that sound similar to something sven vath would drop.

The song after the one I am looking for has Garth Dub mixed with it and then the song after that is White Rabbit.

Thanks to anyone who can help.

  7. I tried searching the board and the web but I couldn't find a tracklisting for

Mauro Picotto - Gatecrasher Live @ the NEC

Does anyone have a tracklisting for this set?

Or does anyone know the name of the track after Mauro Picotto - We're Back?

The song I'm looking for has this twangy guitar sound in it that kind of reminds me of the South Park opening theme music and I've heard this track in a few other live sets. Thanks!

  8. Thanks for pointing out this set!!! Its pretty good from what I've heard so far. I really like Tomaz vs. Filterheadz - Lazy People

Have these guys been around for a while? I wonder if they're ever gonna spin in the city.

  9. do you know if the cue files are readable by a portable mp3 player? Can you somehow merge the mp3 and cue file so that the player can skip to different parts of the file without having track breaks?

I've been trying to figure this out since my mp3 player has a pause between tracks. So for now I have just been listening to one long file. It would be cool if you could somehow put markers into an mp3 file without actually splitting it up into multiple tracks.

  10. I don't know...I can't find the thread anymore. I was able to get to it yesterday and download.

Anyway the set is Danny Howells - Redlight (3/8/03)

My soulseek name is the same as my cp name so feel free to download off of me.
