  3. a couple of jacked up funky whites went over well. paul and i rarely leave a record on the platter for more than 2 minutes.... I think the big one for me was another homicde & apache 2002 kid creme rmx) there is another in the works... I think djs have been picked
  4. i WISH i was down there for that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. vixen! speaking of eliza... anyone have any REALLY hot pix of her wasnt there a shower one/>?
  6. it was a HUGE event.... but im biased..keep that in mind. Day in and day out we see the bs that seems to always be overshadowing the fun that we as djs & clubbers try so hard to create. the countell hours & effort that we all put in is often over shadowed. Events like last night make it SO worth it. lil things like the fact that Ive been spinnin out for so long and never shared a stage with Rick, Manny or Peter was a HUGE milestone in my career... Im very happy everyone enjoyed paul & I's shennanigans. I enjoyed the other guys sets 10fold. like said b4 this is something we should do MUCH MORE OFTEN! even from a dj perspective, not a "lets make a successful night"....I love playing with these guys... and id HATE for it to be a 1 time thing. sadly, alot of people were looking for cds, Ill have one in a few weeks... BIG kudos to Manny ( slowly becoming a BREAKS DJ!!!! HALL YEAH!!!!!!) ,Peter & Sam for putting in the man hours. and Johnny & the roxy for being a gracios host and making sure the party goes off, the way it should!!!! www.djmixacademy.com www.clubvibes.com

  11. hey mike, thanks for the love man. It was nice to know you were there! we gotta alot of good reviews on the set... I think it was a bit much for some though.... no everyone is ready for nu skool breaks and chunky-funky techno why didnt u come say hi? the booth police were on the prowl... but u could have popped in!
  12. another thing u have to think about, especially here in boston. think about how big the dance community was in say: 2000 now think of how many nights & clubs have sprung up since then. if theres only 5000 clubkids in a city, and 7 clubs, 5 lounges, 5 bars.... then fine but if theres 5000 people, and 20 clubs, 30 lounges and 15 bars. well... there ya go.
  13. and claire: jordana: and my fav: ELIZA
  14. well, also u gotta remeber, from age 5-17 all kidz are exposed to is tv & radio. most dont hit a club til 18 and by that time they have made up their minds thanks to 15 years of brain washing. the kids that are 18-21 now, for the most part were 10 yrs old when YO!mtv raps started, and when radio started having hiphop as a major format. here in boston, these are the stations playing some sort of hiphop: 88.9 90.3 92.3 93.7 94.5 95.5 97.7 101.7 104.1 104.5 106.3 107.1 107.9 and that is no BS! no, only 94.5 & 97.7 are 100% hiphop that should answer all questions alone. also, people know that a dance head can tolerate hiphop, usually but hiphop heads have ZERO tolerance to anything other. Ive actually had people IRATE when i switch over... also, think about the image/stereo type thats sold along w/ the music
  15. I likes mine Hybrid style.....
  16. gawd...it just aint right how hot she is. billy bob thorton must be hung like a bull or something...
  17. I just dropped a load in my fuckin shorts!!! Ill be there ALL THE TIME!!! breaks rule!
  18. hey kiddies... heres the straight dope! what: THE FLUID NAUGHTY CHRISTMAS PARTY where: @ FLUID, HURRICANE O' RIELLY'S (Fleet ctr) when: SUNDAY DECEMBER 22ND 2002 930pm-2am who: DJ Manolo DJ Jonny C Paul Dailey Joshua Carl be prepared....
  19. conceptually I like SDB the first time I heard it. and Id rather hear that on the radio than another damn JA rule track. I actaully heard SDb during a police drama on USA... they were in a club... the whole "catchy phrase" track is somethign we see every couple of months.... but if it means it flips over and introduces a few more headz to our scene more power to it. I rather have 16 yr olds exposed to that than 1 more puffy rmx. so when there old enough to go out.... they can remember "hey, I remeber the original dark beat back in 2002, this dark beat 2005 sucks camparativly"
  20. the well is dry... stick to the funky disco till you find a new sound to run into the ground.
  21. thats gotta be the 3rd rmx of that in 12 months (1 on perfecto, the dub aint shabby.... and 1 on moonshine red, actually called marrying janie very funky)
  22. hey kiddies... heres the straight dope! what: THE FLUID NAUGHTY CHRISTMAS PARTY where: @ FLUID, HURRICANE O' RIELLY'S (Fleet ctr) when: SUNDAY DECEMBER 22ND 2002 930pm-2am who: DJ Manolo DJ Jonny C Paul Dailey Joshua Carl be prepared....
