This is a great topic. Being single way into your thirty's is not uncommon anymore. If fact, all the women in my office are single and are in their thirties and fourties!! They never married once and are having the time of their lives!! We talk about marriage sometimes and they keep on mentioning that there is no rush at all--you have the rest of your life to get married. There may be pressure from family but they do this because when our parents were married, they married at 18!!!! Just because you hit a certain age, (which is only a number) shouldn't matter what time in life you get married. I know people that are in their third marriages right now, but wouldn't you want to do it right the first time?? Eventually, i would like to be married, but i'm not going to settle down until I know its right. But my question is, how do you really know its right?? That is the scary part!! Some people i know have married because their spouse was wealthy--(I just attended a wedding where the groom married the girl because he received a brand new house, and the bride just wanted a husband!!!) This is my theory...as long as i can support myself with a decent job and income, afford my own apartment, food, pay bills, and have money left over for spending, then I am happy and have suceeded in life. Getting married to me is a fantasy that i would like to come true one day, but it is not necessary!!

My boss' are traveling today and I have absolutely nothing to do today because I finished my work for the week, but have to stay anyway and i'm bored. Does anyone know unusual websites that I can go too?

I'm not in a relationship right now, infact, I just broke up with my ex a about a month ago. He lived in Jersey and i live on LI. We saw each other about one a week. i have to say that i really like it that way too. Sure, i missed him immensely during the week and i looked forward to the weekend where he would spend the night. Now that i'm out of a relationship, and starting a new one, it is very difficult to see my my new guy all the time. I like having time to miss someone. It is kind of scary picturing me spend the rest of my life with someone because i would never want to get sick of the person I love or fall out of love with that person.

Thanks for breaking down the question for me but I understood it the first time. So Let me re-phrase my answer, there isn't another place i would rather live in than NY. I have traveled alot and love to visit other places but I would not want to live in any of them.

I would stay right where I am!! New York has it all and I love it here!!

I'm so horrible with mine--I charge trips, gas, cigarettes and then when I go shopping I used their store credit cards which makes me feel even worse. I was thinking about waiting until Christimas and pay it all off in one shot and pay strickly $100 a month until then. It just doesn't seem to work!! But I did ask for a raise at work and got that starting July 1 so I am soooooo excited!!!

My credit card bill is $1200!!! That's alot for me because I used to never use my card and paid everything in cash--But some of my friends have $7000 in credit cards to pay off so it kind of doesn't make me feel so bad. Just curious to see if anyone else out there owes money too...

Sorry, i get on in Cedarhurst... I think you should sit next to her on the train--what do you have to lose? I've had a lot of conversations with people on the train before--it's perfectly harmless.

Well maybe that would be a little obvious, but nothing is wrong with that? Besides, she could be thinking the same thing you are!!! You know how people stand up in the isle like 10 minutes before the train stops just so they can be the first ones off the train? Well , maybe she one who waits for the train to stop entirely and then gets out of her seat--you do the same. Sometimes people are rude and don't let you out of the row of seats your in--why don't you be the one who lets her go ahead of you. (I hope you understand what I'm saying here). Let her notice you. I usually take the 5:32 or 6:01 train home--what about you?
