  1. This is a great thread. I like to hear a nice mix of peoples honest opinions on this subject. Personally, I am not about playing games with women anymore. I used to, but I found that the women who you have to play games with are usually not worth it. If you like someone and have a genuine interest in that person then there should be no reason to wait the "standard" three days to call them. Could you be taken to be over-anxious or even desparate? Maybe, but at least that person knows you are sincere. For me, the lasting relationships that I have had have been "game" free. I find that honesty works best.
  2. Have to get my two cents in about Roxy the other night, even though I am a little late with it. Roxy, AKA the CP lounge, was a lot of fun this Friday. Not because Viscious was all that or anything, but because It was very cool hanging with all the chill CP folks. This was my second week in a row at Roxy and I must say it is definitely not the music that makes that party great. I would give shouts to all those I met but my memory is crap these days, especially after Sander last night who, btw also rocked the f'ing house. So to all those I chilled with, I got mad love. I hope everyone enjoyed their "Cream de Johnny" served slightly chilled in a tall glass in honor of Johnny's b-day. A delicacy only fit for a CPer. See you all next time. - Ron
  3. Christ, Howells again this month?? I don't know if I can handle another full dose of that insane mofo. My calves are still in pain. I'm gonna have to do it completely sober this time so I remember more than 20 minutes of the night. Aww screw it. Bring on the pain. See ya there.
  4. $5 open bar = me very very drunk see ya there
  5. My first shout on CP. Now I truly feel loved. Vinyl was such a kickin party it finally broke me out of my year and a half lurker phase on here. Anyone else got some shouts for me bring em on. - Ron
  6. Nice pics BK. Sorry I couldn't hang for the afterhour cool down session but something really knocked me on my ass around 7-8 AM and I couldn't move a single muscle in my body. I must have slept for 18 hours yesterday. Now I'm all ready to get going for Roxy this Friday. There is nothing like a free party. We even get to hear Kosheen live. Any of you peeps going? -Ron
  7. Yo fawkin Howells was off the hook. I am still hurting from his performance and chillin out with all the CPers. It was one hell of a night. To all you peeps I knew and all the cool ones I met at the party thanks for an incredible evening/night/morning. Even though I am still in pain I think I have to make a return visit to Roxy for another round of insanity. See you all there.
  8. Bog you better bring your ass to Vinyl unless you want to miss out on a killer Howells marathon. I'll see you there.
  9. Quit your biatching Bog. You probably performed better than I did my first time, which was also at pseudo a couple weeks ago. I must say though, that book you wrote very accurately captures that first time feeling. Keep working on it bro. See you next Thursday. - Ron
  10. Sounds good then. I'll see you guys on Wednesday.
  11. I got a question for all you pseudo DJs. I've been a CP partier for a long time, but a DJ for a very short time. I definitely want to come out and throw down on the decks with you peeps, but I'm afraid my rookie DJ skills may not be up to par with the rest. Are there any other beginners out there, or would I just be making a fool out of myself ? - Ron
  12. Only Webster Hall could book two great headliners like ATB and George Acosta and make a terrible night of it. Good lord, the vibe in that club sucks big time. Its no wonder when they do an incredibly stupid thing like hooking up the turntables to chains hanging from the ceiling. Every 5 minutes the records would skip, creating massive trainwrecks sure to kill any flow out on the dance floor. George and ATB were powerless against the stupidity of the Webster Hall staff. The grand finale which topped anything I have ever seen anywhere, was when Acosta had his back turned to pull out a record. The entire turntable rack spun around and collapsed in the middle of his set. As bad as the night was, this was straw that broke the camels back. I have always hated that place, but now I realize that it doesn't even matter who is playing there. It could be a Timo Maas and Oakenfold tag team, it would still suck ass. WORD TO THE WISE, STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM WEBSTER HALL.
  13. If anyone has a list for Limelight for Saturday night please post the info here. Thanks.
  14. Hey I don't know if you people know but MOS is going to be @ Crobar on the 25th. They are featuring 2 of the hottest DJs on the planet, Tall Paul and Danny Howells. If you want to hear some of the greatest hard hitting house on earth that you simply cannot hear anywhere around here go there. I assure you, you will not be dissapointed. I am especially speaking to all the fine young ladies out there. I hope to see you all on Wednesday night.
