  5. WKDU will hold it's 5th annual Electronic Music Marathon 17 - 20 October, benefitting Philabundance. 9. i phoned a few salons around my way and asked them about this since i was considering having it done to my hair. heres what they told me:

    - it CAN be done on chemically treated (colored) hair, as long as its in good condition

    - the thickness of your hair determines how long the process will take. in philly they charge 300 for ONE hour. one lady told me it can take up to 5hours

    - once you get it done, you wont be able to curl or bend it at all. the process somehow makes your hair unable to hold curl anymore

    - you cant wash your hair for 2days afterwards. during these two days you also cant tuck the hair behind your ears, or put it up in a ponytail or wrap. basically you have to let your hair just hang because its still "setting"

    - they dont recommend this to afro-americans and latinas. not sure why

    heres a site i found

    http://www.thermalreconditioning.com/

  10. http://www.correctionsdrugtesting.com/superior.htm

    HAIR TESTING

    DETECTION PERIOD

Psychemedics hair analysis can detect drug use for approximately the previous 90 days. Temporary abstention won't beat the test.

    EVASION

Psychemedics hair testing cannot be evaded as in urinalysis since the drug residue remains permanently entrapped in the hair.

    COLLECTION

A cosmetically undetectable snip of hair is easily collected without causing embarrassment. Collection can be done in-house saving the time, inconvenience and the cost of having a job applicant visit a urine collection site. Blood testing is the least used and recommended form of drug testing because of the invasiveness of the collection, the need for skilled sample takers and the extremely short detection period.

But im from Jersey so it looks good on me

but anyway... anything would probably look ok with it. khaki or black pants. i would stay away from denim head to toe though. thats almost like a flashback to the 80s :nono:

Many people go out to relax and meet new people. We are all not infatuated with some fucking record spinner. And who told you "its cool to be in the dance scene now"???? WTF does that mean??? People will always go out to clubs and will never be more popular than any other period in time....in other words: GOING CLUBBING IS NOT A TREND YOU FUCKIN' MOMO!!!!

if you want to pick up, go to a bar. if you want to hear music, go to a club. personally, i dont think being in the middle of a huge room with BOOMBOOMBOOM*insertwailingdivahere*BOOMBOOMBOOM bouncing around in my ears, being shoved about by random juiceheads, and screaming over the music in attempts to have a conversation with someone is relaxing... but thats just me

as for clubbing/DJ culture becoming trendy, i agree. turn on the tv, open any magazine you'll see an ad w/ a pair of turntables, some random clubkid, or a club in the background. its being overexposed by the media now and of course the scene is going to change as a result. just as when all underground scenes become mainstreamed, you have to look harder through all of the bandwagoners to find what you want. ;)

about chi-town. i was just there in july and had a great time. clean city, not overcrowded, nightlife is awesome :D
