anthropologie has a lot of those styles, as does foever XXI. anthro is kind of expensive, but XXI is cheap, and they have a shitload of different styles

i just came back from florida and the sun fried my skin as well. i recently bought some after sun stuff from clarins. it works pretty well - not too greasy or heavy but effective. the scent is kinda strong, but nothing too bad
-
i've begun to wonder about that myself. there aren't a lot of places i know that sell that style anymore. maybe try some department stores?

i received this email from a co-station member...
========MESSAGE TO ALL WKDU MEMBERS========
HEY-I DON'T KNOW IF YOU ARE HIP WITH WHAT IS GOING ON IN THE WORLD OF INTERNET RADIO. I
THINK THE SITUATION IS CRUCIAL. AND MAYBE WKDU WOULD LIKE TO PARTICIPATE?
Webcasters can participate in the ìday of silenceî by either totally
cutting their signal or with heavy schedules of public service
announcements (including a moment of silence ó e.g., "here's what internet
radio may sound like on May 22nd...")
Those that plan to participate include most of the top-rated independent
webcasters, such as AllDanzRadio (various formats), Beethoven.com
(classical), Choice Radio (various formats), ChronixRadio (rock),
ClevelandHits.com (CHR), CyberRadio2000 (various formats), Digitally
Imported (various forms of electronica), GoodTimeOldiesRadio (oldies), and
HardRadio (rock).
Also participating: iNetProgramming (bluegrass and other formats), Internet
Radio Hawai'i (Hawaiian music), KING-FM/Seattle (classical), KPIG/Freedom,
CA (Americana), KTOZ/Springfield, MO (variety), M4Radio (indie rock),
Mostly Classical (classical), Radio Paradise (AAA), Radioio (AAA) and RAIN
Radio (several formats).
Other webcasters planning to participate include SomaFM (trance), 3WK
(alternative), TwangTownUSA (country), Twangcast (country), Ultimate-80s
(Eighties), Village Voice Radio (eclectic), WCSB/Cleveland (various),
WICB-FM (Ithica College), and WOLF FM (70s-80s-90s).
Those running heavy PSA schedules include Live365.com (various formats),
ClassicalMusicDetroit (classical), Shoutcast (various formats), Winamp
Radio (various formats), and numerous other college and non-commercial
webcasters.
Online users can call or write their congressmen and representatives to
express their opinions on the issues.
This is not just a US issue. The CARP decision will have an impact on
webcasting around the world. US webcasters and those outside the US that
wish to support this effort can get more information at the website of
RAIN, the Radio and Internet Newsletter,

i dont understand why anyone who lives in any type of metropolitan area would wanna expose their feet to all that nastiness on the sidewalks. flipflops are for the beach! not dirtyass pavements
i guess it depends on what kind of flipflops. platform flipflops are kind of cute
but i kinda agree, why would you want to have your feet that exposed, that close to the dirty, grimey, sidewalks?

This is what the song sounded like to me
"Oh ah lo ah lah, bebe" "E O A O O Bebe", repeated like 50 times. And the second you hear it... WHAM, can't get it the fuck out of your head
gawd i remember that damn song

this will be my second time going to tampa/sarasota for business (week-long all expenses paid vacation, gotta love it). i went last year and found tampa somewhat disappointing. i checked ybor city out, expecting it to be like south street in philly - not even close oh well...
as for other boards, i'm also on azian.com, *****.com, and a few others.
thanks for the suggestions

Just to goad some people into getting their asses up and voting, here's how the results stand after one day of voting:
1 - Danny Tenaglia
2 - Danny Howells
3 - Deep Dish
4 - John Digweed
5 - Carl Cox
6 - Stanton Warriors
7 - Paul Van Dyk
8 (tie) - Steve Lawler/Richie Hawtin
10 - DJ Tiesto
SO.....If you don't like the way it's looking, then vote. If you want to keep out certain DJs that aren't on the list and you don't want to be there, then vote. Either way, here's the link:

ehhmmm... i think i voted for King Britt last week...
Philly peeps - You gotta represent a little! Not a single vote for a Philly DJ yet....No Nigel, no Josh, no nuthin....
Progressive vs. deep house people: It's a REALLY tight race between the two Dannys so far.
Either way, get off your asses and post your lists. The opportunity won't last forever....
