    Kim!

This is the Mission in Elgin that we are talking about. The reisident on Fridays is DJ Psycho Bitch, and she is always HOT on fridays!! That is the only night I like to go, but on Saturdays is DJ Dropout. Dress is anything goes, so basically you can wear ANYTHING that is comfortable, which is a nice change sometimes. Me and a group of us are going tonight, let me know if anyone wants to join, we can get another person in free with each of us before 12 with a VIP card. Here is the 411: http://www.themission.net The Mission is located on 209 E. Chicago Street. In Elgin Illinois Doors open 10pm till 4am! from the Kennedy you would take that west to I-90 and exit at 31 south, 7 lights down you will make a left on Chicago Street and the club is on the right side about 4 blocks down. There is a free parking garage directly across the street from the club. From Lake Street (rt. 20) you will go west and exit at 31 and make a right. Take that over the train tracks and the light at after the tracks will be Chicago Street, you will make a right and the club will be about 4 blocks down. There is a free parking garage directly across the street from the club. 847-488-0320. ------------------

    Kim!

We usually go 2 or 3 fridays out of the month, depending on what is going on downtown, cause if you go to Elgin you are stuck there. The cops look out like CRAZY for DUI's and stuff. But then there are some really crazy fun afterhours too. Usually the same fun group of people hang out afterwards, of if you are really silly you can go to the boat loose some coin! I was just wondering if you guys ever went. We are accually going tonight, they music on Fridays I sometimes like better then Crobar Psycho Saturday's!!! It is just much more laid back there and you can pretty much wear what you want and fit in, there is ALWAYS good room to dance, and everyone is pretty friendly. Last time I danced so much I couldn't walk down the stairs to leave my legs hurt so much!! It was fun though. Anyways, you guys should check it out. ------------------

Well... how adorable are you two!!!! I look forward to hanging out, you guys go to the Mission at all on Fridays?
  4. ok, so now I am going to test ........test......... Did my image work??? ------------------
  5. Trance, I agree with you one the intelligent conversation on the crobar site, but it is always fun to read around and find out what is going on there. Hey, how do you get the picture in your signature??? I am having problems
  6. Why does he keep testing wow, this poor guy who just wanted advice for coming to chicago, we turned it into our own conversation ------------------ "Perhaps if the world had been a little more fair, a little more tolerable, a little more intelligent, understanding, that if you don't treat people with respect, with equality, with dignity, then you create a world of chaos and confusion where every single human being is the LOOSER. Perhaps if the world was kinder then maybe some of our greatest voices would still be with us today."
  7. Tommy, Yeah good 'ol right! We probably have been at the same place 100 times Do you guys have any picures out on the web??? I need to know who I am looking for too!
  8. Yeah, it is sad that there are only like five of us on this thing! Der and Tommy, I'll send you my pic link so we can know who the heck we are looking for!!!
  9. Definitely! Plan on meeting! I am going to go early though cause I remember last year it was PACKED! I went this Saturday and it was packed by 12, which seemed strange cause the last few times I went it really wasn't, I thought it was starting to die down. You already know what I look like if you saw that crobar web pic, or my web site, so either let's make a time and place to meet or look for me. Kim
  10. Incase anyone doesn't know about this site, it is fun!! At 1pm essential mix comes on live..... go listen!!! http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/dance/index.shtml
  11. Any Saturday night at Crobar is awesome, but as Tommy suggested, go on Psycho's b-day! It was great last year!!! If you come down on a Friday night, depending on what you like, or if you want to just be low key cocktail like, you can hit a "trendy" place like Rive Gauche, Zentra, Transit (which now has DJ Lego on Fridays), or Circus. All the directions for these clubs you can get from www.metromix.com.
  12. Woops, didn't make it to crobar, had a LATE night on Friday, fell out on Saturday at like 10pm! Did you go Tommy? We are DEFINITALLY going this Saturday though.
  13. Well, I will be there Saturday! This is how you will know it is me, I am ALWAYS on the stairs, usually in the middle of the first flight. I will be with a blond girl and guy with the same haircut (their so cute) it is kinda spikey. Wait, I am stupid, look at the crobar web site for um....lets remember.... archives, Dec 2nd, second row, third pic, gal on the left. There, that's me Kim
  14. Give me the 411!!! Me and four of my girlfriends are trying to get good prices to go out there. We are going to Mardi Gras in Feb, Vegas in March, might as well top this year off with Ibiza in Sept!!!!!! My, 2001 is going to be a good year! Tommy, be careful with those bulls! Don't wear red (you probably knew that )
  15. When are you guys going? That is going to be incredable!
  16. They are really good!
  17. Accually we are planning on going this weekend maybe. A friend of mine has a friend visiting from CA, of course we have to show them Crobar! And isn't this the last weekend before the close for renovations?
  18. Although the underage clubs may blow ass here is the info you need: Galaxy Club 9225 Golf Rd., Des Plaines 847-298-5077 High-energy dance club catering to 17-and-over crowd. Reality Room 200 W. 83rd St. 773-783-7560 Zero Gravity Rt. 53 and 75th St., Naperville 630-985-1111 This young adult (16-24) dance club features deejays, state-of-the-art concert sound, lighting...... I got these from www.metromix.com, and searched for all ages. That should help. Also there are always things like DJ's at the Congress Theater and Raves. Hope this helps!
  19. Yeah I went, it was CHAOS (is that spelled right??) Four hours to check into the hotel, and hour to finally get our tickets, crowded to get into the party, but then it mellowed off and it was cool. The only part I am REALLY pissed about was that I spent thirty dollars more of what was the "Gold" VIP room and everyone who spent the basic ticket got in there too without spending the extra money. Oh well. And ANOTHER thing! My group was the ONLY ones awake at like 5am!!! We were walking the halls in the lobby and they goes another person from my group walking by, it was useless to meet new people! Now I really know we were really the party school. (my old college SIU) I was so disappointed. I think next year they will be a lot more organized. I hope they don't have it at the congress though, the people who worked there were RUDE and horrible! Sorry, enough complaining...the music was awesome!
  20. I just wanted to know others opinions on the Congress Hotel/ pure/ Urmagazine event. So what did you guys think????
  21. Redno5 is cool. You should have a decent time. Fifth floor is above it, which is "higher class" and they play more underground house. All in all it is not a bad deal.
  22. Yeah, I AM EXCITED! It should be so fun. We, so far, have gathered enough for about 11 hotel rooms so it should be a blast!!! It is now offically sold out I told my friends to get tickets...but noooo..... oh well for them. I thought I was answering your question, but I didn't do it to your liking so YOU lashed OUT ON ME Like I said I am NOT a catty female, I don't know much about fasion, I wear what I feel good in, and if it is black pants, it's black pants??? I am confused.... someone please explain what wearing to the clubs matters, just as long as you look good right???
