Thanks to everyone who came out to our Red Cross benefit at China White last Saturday! Thanks also to the great DJs who volunteered their time: Lolita, Strict, Rapture, Sanjay, Apotheosis, Mantra, Hydration.
We managed to raise $1,100! But we're not stopping there. HeadRush Music will be involved in two more fundraisers in November. We'll be bringing out Hiro from Con-fu-sion and Red Menace Records for both of 'em, so you know the music will be amazing. Stay tuned!

After a successful summit during their Korova Milk Bar collaboration, HeadRush Music and Leisure Society are teaming up again to bring our flagship party back from its long morphine-induced slumber. That’s right, baby, Cyberia hath returned, and we’re coming for dat ass!
Every Thursday, join us at our beautiful new palace in the heart of clubland, True! Known for its orgiastic, bacchanalian weekly bashes, this luscious space has two floors for dancing, lounging, and heavy petting.
We plan to continue this horny tradition by dosing you with submarine-deep house, progressive grooves, and electronic styles from across the musical spectrum. Every week, resident sexpots David Christopher and Chris Lewis seduce you with their glorious riddims, along with other hot local horndog guest DJs. It’s time for the local talent to shine as HeadRush Music showcases the cream of the new crop at one of the biggest lounges in New York. A variety of styles will be represented when these hungry kids from around New York and New Jersey show you what they’ve got. Here’s the lineup:
9:30-10:20 PM Princess Lolita :: jump-up jungle/hip hop
10:20-11:10 PM Strict :: drum and bass
11:10-12:00 AM Apotheosis :: house, trance, and progressive
12:00-1:30 AM China White DJ TBA :: hip hop, R&B
1:30-2:20 AM Sanjay vs. Mantra :: deep trance
2:20-3:10 AM Rapture :: progressive house

Really sorry about moving Zoran early. China White threw their DJ in at the last minute, which really screwed everything up. I will have Zoran playing at a future event for me--I'll try to give him a longer slot then to make up for it!
There are going to be a lot of other great DJs playing, though! I hope that Zoran's fans will still come out to support, even if they can't make it 'til later.

You are aware that China White FORCED me to slot their DJ in at 12-1:30 AM, as I explained in a previous e-mail to you. I can try to switch you with Zoran's slot if it helps.
I would also appreciate it if you would voice your gripes to me personally rather than in a public forum. I would consider it professional courtesy.

FYI, everyone: the time slots will be modified slightly to accommodate China White's desire to throw in a mainstream DJ to satisfy their straight-edge clientele. I'll post the revised times soon.

The G.I.F.T. Foundation (Giving Inspiration for Tomorrow) requests your assistance in raising money for one of the many deserving funds associated with the recent World Trade Center tragedy, the KBW Family Fund.
Please join us at Trilogy Bar and Grill - 241 East 73rd Street @ 2nd Avenue - on Thursday, October 4th, from 7:30 to 11 PM. HeadRush Music's David Christopher will be supplying the tunes while a complimentary open bar will be offered between 8 and 9 PM. A minimum donation of $30 will be collected at the door, though larger donations will be accepted and appreciated. Checks should be made payable to the KBW Family Fund.
All proceeds from the event will be directly allocated to the families of missing employees of Keefe, Bruyette, & Woods, Inc., an investment banking firm severely affected by the events of September 11th.
