It isn't really Shelter's fault that the rooms were messed up... This guy Chino {MC etc.} is the one that basically organized the event.... He used to run Morbid Dreams Prod. but he fawked up his rep so bad that he dropped the name and I guess he's working with top notch, but in any case he is the one to blame for the shorter set list and smaller space . . The phazon was definetly dissapointing.... But shit happens, when Shelter is on point is can still hang with some of the better venues...Oh well its was worth the 25 bucks .. I got there early as reid Speed was getting on so I saved 5 beans Joeg, Thehacker - It was nice to meet you both and get a chance to talk, till next time...

Non taken, but I don't think my partying had anything to do with my bad luck, if anything that is the one highlight of the weekend. Without that I really would have been tight. With all the bad shit that happened, the only thing that really pisses me off is the fact that I lost my poetry books with my writing.

Came down Sat. night for "On you Knees" which was ill.(check for my review when I get more than 15 minutes on the library computer). Then it all went downhill from there for me. Sunday I spent mad time looking for a decent squat. Found a shitty one up on Crystal ave but 20 minutes after being there I decided to find a better spot. Found a hot little house on Mills to crash at. It had a for sale sign in the front yard but was all boarded up so I gave it a chance. I bounced sometime around 11pm to check out downtown. Bad idea I guess because my ass got robbed. Some kid came up to me trying to run my pockets, then I pushed him off. He started screaming for his crew that where up the block so I bounced, but after "On your knees" my legs were hurt up. They eventually caught up, ran my pockets and left me with no dough. After that I went back to the house where the police were waiting for me. They snatched me, slapped me with a felony burglary charge beacause the house was for sale and there might have been something of value in there. Thats what they said at least. [side note]springfield cops are dicks. Got out at like 12noon this morning after court (I have to come back on the 11th of march for another court date)and went back to the house to get my bags, which the cops decided not to bring w/me. Get there and the owner and some worker were cleaning the house. Come to find out these motherfuckers threw my bag out (w/ my UFO's signed by pleasurehead,Papa Smurf,Ron Jeremy, and a couple other headz-My poetry books & short stories which are mad personal-another set of clothes,money, yada yada) they probably kept some of the shit. Then I go to the dump up on Page Blvd. to search for my junk in the piles of garbage and was told that all the shit from earlier in the day got shipped to Chesopeke[sp]. Now I'm at the public library on State with no money, clothes, shelter, or cigarrettes. Not to mention I know nobody and I'm tired as hell from all this walking and stress. I'm going to try to hit up a homeless shelter and go from there. I'll post some shit when I get a chance. Peace, Sean
