I think everyone is kind of missing the point here...people that rent around the seaside area go to the Surf Club beach in Ortley, not the seaside beach.... which IMO is just as nice if not nicer than Belmars, plus you dont have any cops harrassing you about drinking or making noise, i dont think that anyone (our age) that rents in seasisde actually goes on that beach. Anyway, my friends and I have a house on Railway Ave in Ortley, 3rd year in a row. 3 bedrooms and 8 grand for the summer, and since i teach, i am there ALL SUMMER! I cant wait

I had a great time at Bunka last night, I kind of recall meeting DJPrime, and its kind of hazy but I think some pictures were taken....THOSE may be scary!

My friends and are getting the same house in Ortley that we have gotten the past 2 years. And for those who say that spending a summer down the shore is a waste of time, who are you kidding? Is it a waste of money to spend the summer down the shore? Where else would you want to be? Stuck in a Northern suburb day in and out? What is the fun of the summer then? I will admit, I do not go out as much as I did when I was 21 and 22, but I do not think that just because you turn a certain age that means you have to stop having fun! I am 24 and will be at Tempts every Saturday this summer. For those of you that know, I will see you there! For those of you who dont, I pity you!

I teach in an urban district as well, and I couldnt see myself teaching nice little rich kids. I love my kids and it is so rewarding.

Even though I make NEXT TO NOTHING, I think my job is the best. I teach Kindergarten in a public school. It is NEVER boring, I work with great people (everyone I work with is a lot of fun, not conservative like other school jobs can be) Plus the benifits are better than any other profession-free medical, perscription plan, dental and vison, along with summers off, a week and a half off in December (Im off right now) and a week off in April, as well as every other holiday during the school year off, plus 10 sick days that carry over and 3 personal days. I guess the only down side is if you dont like kids, the job WILL drive you crazy, frotunately, I like kids. I had a bunch last year that made me want to scream, but I got through it and now I love my job. I guess the only down side is that I will never make a big time salary, but if that was what was important to me, I wold have never studied to be a teacher in the first place:D
