Everyone has to try new things - go places that are not the "In" place to go at the moment. When you follow the crowds - you tend to have the same experience anywhere you go. Try different things..............be creative....

I tottally agree with you. Its really about the atmosphere and who you are with. I dont like going out with people who have something to prove or who are going to worry more about how other people perceive them, and I feel like (no offense to ANYBODY, Im speaking in general here) that there are A LOT of this type of people at some of our favorite clubs. I love being around people who came for the music and to have a good time (ex: TEMPTS) or at least thats how I feel, i hardly ever catch a bad vibe from anybody there.

Also, I think gettiing older has a lot to do with it

  3. I work out at Tiger Fitness in North Caldwell. It is basically hidden off of Passaic Avenue. I like it because it is quiet and emptty a lot, so I can get done what I need to when Im there and I dont ever have to wait around for machines. However, it is filled with old people. I think I am the youngest one there!

My membership is up in March, and I am thinking of joining Golds or Olympus or NYSC...but I am down the shore in the summer (Ortley) Does GOlds have an option where you can join and use multiple gyms? I know NYSC and Olympus does, but I dont think there are any down the shore.

  6. Yes, this season has been slow. The drama isnt even that intiguing. but I keep watching it because I'm sure they will come out of left field with something great later in the season. Oh, and I definitiely think Paulie's days are numbered.

  7. So, all I did this weekend was go to Great Adventure, I've been so lame since summer ended....

How was everybody else's weekend? How was Metro Friday? Anyone go to the new happyhour? How was Deko or Silver ball? How about Sundgarden? Info please I like to know what I missed!

    :D

  8. I just wanted to say to everyone that I am praying that they catch this psychopath and hope that everyone on this board is not personally affected by any of the homicides. I used to go to the university of maryland so I still speak to a lot of my friends in this area and they tell me how scary it is to live at this time.

It is sad because as much as you want to go on with everyday life, how could you without always looking over your shoulder or running every time you are outsitde? It must be more terrible than I can even imagine. Stay strong and I hope for everybodies sake that this all comes to an end soon.

  9. I miss my summer house and lazy days of summer too...but fall and winter mean a few important things:

    -RELAXATION

    -Saving $$$$$

-Like Laurie said, getting in better shape

-Saturday nights at home with that "special someone" (which are few and far between in the summer, and IMO very neccesary;) )

And the tan can be upkept through tanning salons and self tanners!
