  3. This Saturday is Danny's Holiday Party at Arc. This is the last chance to see Danny for this year. As this time of year is a time for giving...the first 100 people in the door will get a gift from Santa Howells...and also if you bring 3 cans of non-perishable food for the City Harvest program you get admission for only $15. i know it's so much fun being naughty, but let's all be good little boys and girls and help the less fortunate and get our groove on....

  4. Hey all,

I have put together a bus trip to this awesome party with PVD and Scott Henry (see flyer info below). This should be a total blast and an awesome time to remember. For those of you who haven’t been to a DC party the vibe down at these parties is incredible to say the least. A ticket for this party from ticketmaster is $41.25 with all the TM charges. The price I got for this trip is $70 per person and includes your ticket and the bus trip down there. We would arrive at 2pm and leave at 2:30 am. The bus is a party bus complete with our music and use of the VCR and Monitors. Space is Very limited so I need to hear from people ASAP. Please contact me privately if you are interested in going. My email is Mik_E_SmileZ@hotmail.com.

    Peace, Love and Light

As for Dogma, I would have expected something a little more clever and funny from Affleck and Damon. The acting sucked, as well as the material. The only interesting / funny part of the movie was Chris Rock. Matt Damon sucks as an actor; nothing distinctive about him, or the roles he plays. Same thing with Affleck.

I can't believe Robert Redford came up with such a stupid cast for "Legend of Bagger Vance." Matt Damon is bad enough, but throw Will Smith into the pile, and one now has a movie that seems like it is making fun of drama. Will Smith isn't a bad star, but he's a terrible actor.

Wow this is almost just a scene from Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back! How fuuny. Thanks Rudeboyyouth

  8. i saw it last week, on a sneak preview, and let me say the film is soooooo funny. i plan on going back to see it i like it so much. I will say tho, if you are not a Kevin smith fan tho, then the film may not be for you. But if you are a fan, it is great. So damned funny. i enjoyed it more than American Pie 2, and yes you heard me right.

    BONGggg!

  9. A Great DJ at a low price.

    TOUCH

This Friday August 17th @ Shine

    Kevin Saunderson (KMS Productions, Detroit)

    DJ Dots (Hooka Lounge,Wanderlust, NYC)

    Billy Shane (Touch, NYC)

One of the three original pioneers of techno music, along with fellow

Detroiters Juan Atkins and Derrik May, there is no question that Kevin

Saunderson has had a huge influence on the direction of House and Techno

over the past decade. As far back as 1988 with Paris Grey and Inner City he

was responsible for bringing underground techno music to a more mainstream

audience with tracks like Big Fun and Good Life. Yet even with Number One

songs, gold and platinum records and dozens of world tours, Kevin

Saunderson has always managed to stay true to his underground roots with

projects like E Dancer and the Reese Project. To say that we are moist with

excitement to have Kevin Saunderson come DJ for us at Touch is an

    understatement...

    Doors 11 pm sharp

  10. Well i went to American Pie 2 all proper like (read Stoned off my gourd) and i was ready for a very funny film. Well i will say the film is very funny, especailly Stifler, whose character got most of the best lines. The film itself lacked originallity. It was the same exact plot structure. With the same types of jokes. i.e. Insert masterbation joke here, insert band camp joke here. ANother very odd occurence is that everyone with the exception of Tara Reid and Alyson Flanign (band camp geek) looks worse than they did in the first one. Nadia is no where near as hot. :( i wolud say that this film is worth seeing, although there is not a huge need to go runnning out now to go see it. 3 out of 5
