Hmmm odd acid stories. Damn that's a hard one. Odd is so subjective.
i mean is it weird to go to the corner store in Jersey city on a Saturday afternoon to buy sunglasses and return walking to the afterparty, i was attending across the street from the store smoking a 2.5 foot tall glass hookah.
Or is it weird to trash your room just to smoke a joint in Detroit?
Or is it odd to steal the Canadian flag from a group leader of Canadian tourists and run away with it?
Is it odd to go to Great Adventure and use the souvenir cup to fill up with the On tap ketchup they have at Nathan's?
Perhaps it is odd to get in a chase at high speeds running form the sanitation cop in the Bronx
Perhaps playing blackjack in the Taj Mahal and only hitting if the picture cards waved at me and winning the whole time is odd.
Perhaps even dressing up as famous cult journalists and "becoming" them for the duration of a party is odd.
To tell you the truth tho, i have no idea.....

Recently at the X-Dream Tsunami party at the world. Hunter S. Thomson was spotted dancing around and hanging around with the locals including this un-named Hippy.
Hunter was quoted as saying, "Those swine from Rolling Stone sent me here to cover this, and let me tell you Bub, i've covered some Weird Shit in my time but nothing as insane as what goes on at these parties. Ho-ho a little niche of Hippy magic pre-packaged and put inside the spectacle of a resteraunt deidicated to pro wrestling. I highly reccomend it, but then again I've always had a gambling problem."

All i can say is Hellz Yeah. What a freakin party! Autechre was amazing! Everyone was cool. The weather sucked, but it was cool in of that. Detroit sux. But screw it the party was sick awesome, the Tonic Party was quite good with Punisher and Marco Corolla rippin shit up. It was cool seeing everyone. And meeting new people. BIg thanx to everyone. You know who you are. And remember folks you can do SO much with volume.

Well the party was pretty good. i enjoy it, especially the chill out room. It was very good. i didn't meet anyone from Clubplanet, but i was there running around like Hunter S. Thomson. THe after party was great as well. But i probably will not go to another one of their parties ever, as John Emmanuel is an evil fucker who deserves to be beaten with a mini van.

Hi folks this is WInk WInkleman here with an important message. i know many of you out there are confused about where the Tsunami party is. Well it was scheduled originally for BB king's but within the last week BB King's decided that they did not want frolicing kids in their establishment, so the party was moved to the World, aka the WWF Cafe. This Friday At Cream as always we will have DJ Divine laying down some sick hard trance, with JAN Lo from wicked liquid opening. From what i hear of the Cd it was ok, not what i would call Goa Trance, or Psytrance. It was ok tho. Of course Goa and Psytrance have come a long way, so it is more of a psedo-throwback to what Goa was, but it still not very GOa. Of course if you compare it it to Oakenfold's normal tracks, than it is Goa in comparison.
In other news a Goa meetup would be cool.

Movie --- "Groove"

The best thing i could say about Groove is that it was cute. It had some intersting things going on and some interesting situations, but there was too much in it that was not believable. (let's not start the suspense of disbelieve thing) Also the writing was piss poor. The acting was not bad i must say, except for John Digweed. I did not believe he was some kind of superstar dj.
Human Traffic which is the new release section of Most Bloackbusters on Viedo, but not DVD.
is an awesome film. It is about a gropu of 4 British Clubbers, and their lives around a particular weekend. It is very intelligently done. Well written and funny as hell. i highly recommend this film.
