  1. Sorry to burst youe bubble but someone posted the same question yesterday- andddddd The response was that Bjork is not going to be at Limelight for New Years. God I hope that he was wrong- but he seemed sure. I think that if she was going to be there there would be something posted from clubplanet from them for New Years. Check around before you buy tickets and if I find out anything else I will post it. ------------------ I've got plans, lots of 'em.
  2. Yes, I know that this has nothing to do with clubbing or music, but being that there are so many students on the board, I hope you don't mind... I work in a restaurant and we are looking for a host/hostess- part time. It will be 4-6 nights a week for at least 3 hours depending on the business... The pay will be between $10 and $12 per hour plus coat check tips. Please PM me if you are interested or e-mail me at sarahkim13@hotmail.com. Thanks everyone. Sarah ------------------ I've got plans, lots of 'em.
  3. A scent that I really like on a guy is Escape for men. I used to go out with this guy who wore it and it just smelled so good on him. Eventhough it's kinda old I still like it. I have been wearing "Nude" by Bill Blass. It's hard to find and pretty inexpensive too. I don't think that a day has gone by when I didn't receive a compliment about it. But listening to all the posts here, I might change it up- I've been looking for something new anyway. ------------------ I've got plans, lots of 'em.
  4. Since we're on the topic, has anyone tried supermans? A friend of mine has them but I haven't seen anything posted in pillreports. ------------------ I've got plans, lots of 'em.
  5. I'VE BEEN TO MOUNT AIRY LODGE! When I was a kid, I went with my parents on vacation. If you want to go to a place and just get wacked out and not really ski- then that's the place to go. But otherwise, let it go. It's straight out of the 70's lodge era. I think Hunter would be the best place to go for a day trip. If this trip is planned between Jan. 1st and Jan. 8th, I'm in and I might even have a car to boot. ------------------ I've got plans, lots of 'em.
  6. ok- ive been naughty- but i dont care- i'm. jewish! ------------------ I've got plans, lots of 'em.

  8. Thanks P_Poppin. The only reason I was even considering it was because its easier than tracking down quality pills. I'm tired of getting weak pills. But that's another story. Anyway thanks for the feedback. ------------------ I've got plans, lots of 'em.
  9. A few years back, a friend of mine took it and said that its just like real E. I never tried it and am wondering if it really works. So the other day I was online and I saw a website selling it. Has anyone ever tried it and is it worth it? ------------------ I've got plans, lots of 'em.
  10. I don't know anyone from the board, but I might br up for something. I'm trying to get my plans together now- I may have some friends coming into town as well as some in-town friends getting together. Let me know what you want to do/ where you want to go and how much it will cost. Thanks. Bren ------------------ I've got plans, lots of 'em.
  11. When it comes to looking after a friend, I am the queen. I've been put into some crazy situations where if I wasn't looking out for my buddy, some serious damamge could have happened. This one time, a friend of mine got into it with a complete stranger on the street. They were about to fight and I physically grabbed my friend, who weighs 100 pounds more than me, and dragged him away putting myself between him and the street psycho. As for everyday situations, I always make sure that my friends are well taken care of. From buying drinks (if anyone is short on cash, to taking them out for a good time. And if anyone talks s**t to me or my pals, I am the defender. ------------------ I've got plans, lots of 'em.
  12. Brianz54- you said it. Just because you have the guts to go out to a club alone, doesn't make you a loser. I do many things alone. I go to movies on my own too. I don't have the luxury of sharing the same schedule as my friends. But should that take away from my fun- Hell No! If someone doesn't feel comfortable enough to go out alone, then don't. But don't be insulting to others who aren't hung-up on being out solo.
  13. As much as I prefer to go out with friends, when they aren't interested, I go solo. Ive been to Twilo and Centro Fly solo on more than one occasion. I had a really good time- the only thing that I don't like is when I first arrive. It takes me a few to get into the music- but once I do, I'm set for the night. Its a great way to meet new people. Believe me, if I can fly solo, anyone can. Is anyone going out tonight from Jersey- maybe I'll head in with you.
  14. Depending on where you work in the city, you may want to consider other parts of Jersey as well. If you don't work above midtown, your commute may actually be longer than 10 minutes, in fact it can be as long as 45 minutes. That's one drawback if you commute by bus. But even by car can be a big hassle. You should consider looking at Hoboken,Weehawken, West New York, and North Bergen for a quicker commute. Another drawback about Jersey is that everything closes really early, from the grocery store to bars. Hoboken is the only place with any night life at all- but of all the towns in NJ, Hoboken has the highest rent. Ive lived in Hoboken, Jersey City, West New York, and Weehawken and I think that by far, the most liveable was Hoboken. Insurance is going to be higher than New York and parking isn't necessarily going to be easier. Basically you have to make a choice, the less rent you want to pay, the longer your commute is going to be. Also you might consider checking out the new developements near the light rail station over in Jersey City. Hope I helped you some. If you need any help looking for a place, I'm very good at this. Anyway good luck. Sarah
  15. Hi everyone- I'm new to the board but am definitely going to twilo tomorrow night. Hopefully, I'll figure out which group you are and say hi. I'm bringing a friend with me who has never rolled or been to twilo before either, so hopefully you will make us feel at home.
  16. As much as I like to look pretty, I have to say that nothing beats wearing sneakers, baggy pants and a cute little tee. If I'm going out dancing, that's my primary intention, I try not to worry about how I look but rather about how I feel- comfortabel is the way I feel best. I think that the girls who get all dressed up and go to clubs don't really get the scene and the vibe. But I could be wrong. The most important thing is that everybody should be dancing.
