Your best bet out of all you choices would be BORIS. Considering 1. Richie Rydell in not an option (even though for some reason you posted on njguido that he is in your line up....HE IS NOT) 2.Everyone else that you mentioned are already working as part of the THURSDAY night rotation at Metro Lounge.Granted they can always work for you, but than they would not be in the Metro rotation anymore. Why not try something.....original:idea: Instead of bitting off of other places. Its the only chance you would have at longevity. Try booking people that are not from the area, maybe it would cause some excitiment IMO. Take a dj and let them build the party WITH you.

FLOAT features 3 floors (including a second level mezzanine/balcony completely surrounding the dance floor, your gonna love it)2 VIP ROOMS, and a great layout with bathrooms on each floor. Trendy design, and a GREAT LOCATION (52nd between 7th &8th) LOT OF PARKING! and are you ready for this........... YOUR Metro Lounge/Merge VIP CARDS will be valid at the door @FLOAT for the first time in NYC for reduced admission and FRONT OF LINE PRIVLEDGES Guys, like i said before this is the SATURDAY NIGHT PARTY that we have ALL been looking for. Wanted to say thank you to all of YOU for another incredible night. Where do i begin. First of all.............LAST NIGHT WAS OUT OF CONTROL!. It had sort of a holiday feeling to it to me, because everyone seemed overly excited for the night. I guess everyone was waiting to see excatly how this whole thing would go off.......well, IT WENT OFF, IN A BIG, BIG WAY. And we thank all of you for that. I knew the drink ticket system would take a little getting used to, but you all seemed to get the hang of it by the end of the night. We could not have asked for a better possible crowd. The vibe, energy, and excitment of the metro lounge family is what makes what we do something special to US. It was also great to see lots of industry in the house. It always really gets me pumped up when its the end of a long night and i look out in front of my bar and most of the people i see are all the hardcore peeps from this board, that puts a smile on my face:D You guys are the true clubbers, and we are glad you are part of the Metro Lounge/Merge family. THANK YOU! We will always do our best to TRY to give you the best that we can. Thanks for appreciating it, and thank you for a great night!

This place kind of reminds me of an upscale mini factory in a way. Lots of rooms, areas to explore,walk around. With the right people, (all of you and the "family") the right dj(who else...RICHIE RYDELL) , and a GREAT location, it has ALL the ingredients for a great party.

Jerry, guess you dont get out much, if you think retrometro is like a normal night at metro. Do you know what retrometro means? Since you were probably only 16 (you just turned 21 right?) when metro opened,Retrometro is metro CLASSICS, somthing Richie Rydell hardley ever plays. Only at retrometro once a month. And no, it is NEVER EVER 18 for the boys on a friday. Thanks for your concern though. By the way, you said you are coming to Metro this friday, be sure to introduce yourself to me, i would LOVE to meet you.

Guys, as always, the party starts EARLY fridays at metro lounge(afterwork fridays starts @5pm). ITS GONNA BE THE SAME NIGHT AS ALWAYS, EXCEPT that at 2:15, instead of turning on lights and having a dance floor packed from wall to wall screaming for Richie, EVERYONE will be able to stay and enjoy the music, the crowd and the vibe a little longer.Richie will be playing from start to fimish. There is a chance we will not be letting anyone in after a certain time,which i am not sure of as of yet, so i suggest that EVERYONE COMES AT NORMAL TIME.This is NOT an afterhours club, it is Metro Lounge.Just think of it as an "extended "night. Which i think would be perfect for everyone. We are not looking to draw a later crowd, just looking to extend our regular night a little longer. Also keep in mind that we are staying open LATER, not all day long!!.Just long enough to get that extra fix of a party that we love and enjoy. I think you will all be very pleased. Well ,we made an agreement that says all alcohol must be SOLD by 1AM (key word SOLD) so.....................at 12:30,as an added bounus to all the DRINKERS, any drink ordered BETWEEN 12:30 and 1am, will be served in a MASSIVE 240z CUP (ITS LIKE HAVING 3 DRINKS and you will only be charged price of 2) and you can purchase these drinks up to 1am. You can also purchase BOTTLES till 1am , and drink your drinks or bottles at your convience.....all night long!. REMEMBER..........alcohol must only be PURCHASED before 1, you can CONSUME at your leisure....WE WILL STAY OPEN ALL NIGHT LONG...........IN TRUE METRO LOUNGE FASHION.
