jeru is one of the illest mc's..like andre's post about lyrics a while back..hip-hop is just not the same anymore. my only rationale for why it has changed so much is that these kids had mad years experience rappin about life on the streets, then they get signed and their lives change so much that all they can rap about is cars, hoes, cash and jewelery because that's all their lives are. I actually sat here for a while and thought about the answer to this question, and it dawned on me that I have no real reason..I mean the reasons I have could be reasons for just going to a club and dancing sober...to have fun, to feel free, to feel good.
