Digweed made a rare appearance out here in SF a few weeks ago at 1015. The line was 4 blocks long and pretty much consisted of everyone who knew the John Digweed from seeing the movie Groove. So, although I missed seeing one of my all time favorite trance djs, I ended up with a room full of true party people bumping to what Roger Sanchez had to offer. It was a good night. No fires.

Still have to disagree. I've seen quite a few girls with long hair that actually detracted from attractive features. Of course it depends on the girl. But, if there is a cute girl who looks good with short vs. the same girl with long. I say cut it.

dark like tiesto? To me tiesto's sound is closer to the cheese/anthemy trance described earlier. I still like it, but I don't think it's really that dark. I like my House music a little on the hard/tech side. Ala DJ Dan. I guess I've gotten a little burned out on the slower deeper Naked Music type-sound. I'll still dance to it though. =)

It sucks that your friends got poisoned from some bunk pills. Again, I'd recommend getting a testing kit from dancesafe.org and not taking pills from strangers that you haven't checked.

Since there wasn't really any specific cause of death mentioned it is hard to say what, if anything, the MDMA contributed to the death. The likelyhood of heatstroke is definately increased by E. Somebody mentioned MDMA's effect on the brain's seratonin and dopamine processing. Research hasn't shown this to be fatal in animals or humans.
