I caught Deep Dish down at the Music Confrence in 2002 at Space.. I did leave until 12:30 in the afternoon. It was some of the best music I have ever heard.. What an incredible vibe. And as someone else said, they seem to know exactly what song to drop at the right time, whether old or new... I have to be at Newark Airport to get on a plane for Punta Cana at 4 am or else I would definitely be there.. For anyone who has never heard them, TRUST ME, "DON'T MISS THIS"....

This summer on Saturday nights Club XS is bringing you the DJ that everyone wanted, including myself!!! Everyone knows on Friday nights it will be "Lil C" as our resident DJ. We will also have special treats for you along with Lil C for quite a few Friday nights all summer long.

I have to agree about these fucking protesters. The United States has tried every possible means to avoid a war, but Saddam would not get rid of his biological weapons and weapons of mass destruction. These fucking people that are protesting the war have some nerve. What would they like us to do? Nobody likes to see innocent people killed, but what about what happend over here on 9/11. I understand that Saddam did not directly get involved with the Trade Centers, but he does support groups such as Al Quida and someday may do something on his own. Development of biological weapons such as anthrax and so forth is used for nothing but TERROR. These people that want to protest the war would be thinking differently if Anthrax was detected in their city's drinking water and thousands of people died. What I want to know from these protestors is what do we do, wait for Saddam to get a chance to use these weapons on our homeland? Support the United States in its decisoin or GET OUT!!!! Remember the men and woman over in Iraq are fighting for the future safety of you and your family...

Sorry, but you are wrong as of now. Kirk Lopez is not the DJ for XS yet. I am not saying he might not wind up to be, but as of now that is not true... So far we must read Saleen's post for the facts.

Actually, Baez has a new track on JV's new CD. He also has a CD full of new artists coming out very shortly. He is actually on the cover story of the homepage of Clubplanet if you want to read it.

I heard him spin once in person and he was really good. As far as the radio gos, I am sure that will be a plus.

I only heard him play in a club once and he was good. But I can tell you this he came highly recommended from some industry people including someone on this board that everyone here gives a lot of respect..

Like I said before, they have only one DJ picked. It does sound as if you know, with the information you are giving. It really is not a big secret or a big deal for that matter.

XS does not even know who is spinnig yet, so how could you know? I do not mean any disrespect, but they only have a DJ picked for one night. Unless that is the one you are talking about.

Oh shit Saleen, It does'nt take people long to get your number... Will you let us know this summer that you are coming before you actually come up? Ask Brian about the size of the Soco and Lime shots we did all last summer....

If you come up on a holiday weekend (Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day) either night will be mobbed. Would not suggest making it one of those weekends. If you are coming up why not hit up both nights, you are sure to have a blast. Sunday you have to go to Surf Club and drink buckets of Corona's on the beach-Sergio will take good care of you there if you let him know you are coming and he knows that you are from CP-he works the door and then some.... Roxanne will take good care of you at the bar. Then come over to Tempts. at about 10pm for some craziness. PM me when you are comeing this summer, I bartend at Tempts. on Sunday nights and will take good care of you...

Club XS will be opening at 1 pm for this special event... From 1 to 9 we will have 7 different bands performing including Big Orange Cone, and Dog Voices... Club music will be mixed in between the bands by DJ Keith Crash... From 9 o'clock on Anthony Acid will be taking over the wheels of steel until 3 am... It also happens to be my 30th birthday at midnight March 16th so come and do some shots... Don't worry I will be bartending with Ceeotter that night so it will be her turn to babysit me... God only knows I have had to babysit her enough in the past!!!

It is Anthony Acid spinning from 9pm on. And as far as babysitting me, yes you will be, but we will be going shot for shot after nine. As long as I can still count out the register at the end of the night.... ha, ha Don't forget, Big Orange Cone and plenty of other bands all day long at XS....

XS was completely insane last night. The vibe was unreal. Music was great and saw so many old faces. Bermuda Club was DEFINITELY in the house last night....Thankyou everyone...
