i really can't thank you all enough for the support that has been shown to me and the club. i was so pleased to see so many of you come out for this event. as you all know the club is not officially closed yet, but the soul is gone and it has been very heartbreaking to me, dade, george, and frankie as we leave and to the rest of our staff who have become my family and eachother's. my only regrets about the night (besides the a/c that must have resigned also) is that i did not get to spend it joyously on the dance floor with everyone. i hope it left everyone with a very fond memory and anticipation for what is to come. kris.

everyone is so sweet- thank you. i hope most of you can make it out this weekend but if not i will post from england and tell all about my adventures at the festival. hopefully i can post some pictures as well, although i am one of those types that will carry the camera but only take two pictures in the beginning. all depends on how messy things get. kris

The club will close after Labor Day weekend. The new owners have not bought the Shadow Lounge name so the place will have a new name....Liquid.

i will be posting and keeping in touch- everyone who represents on this board is amazing and i don't want to miss out on the experience. plus, i can't miss out on telling you all about creamfields uk- i am there next week and will dance one for all of you

all good things must come to an end. this saturday the 18th is my last night at shadow lounge as well as george acosta's last night. i hope everyone will come out to say goodbye. it has been an absolute pleasure meeting everyone and having the opportunity to make your nightlife a little brighter. so following the great words of timothy leary.... i am picking up my needle and moving to another groove. kris

we posted a message the other day regarding dumonde. we found out wednesday night that they were unable to get the proper permits for the canadian portion of the tour, therefore they cancelled the tour because of flight arrangements. we are having problems with our website- it should be up shortly.

it seems the cp people are planning to meet here on saturday for the remix party- the guest lists have been coming in. you can email me yours at kris@shadowlounge.com i will be at the door, but it is easier for me if i have the guest list beforehand. also- note that Dumonde was scheduled to play here friday but we just had the cancellation today due to their inability to get the proper visas.

iok- now that is just funny.

interesting theory patrick- except you seem to have forgotten one very important point- shadow lounge has always been nice to its customers and treated them with respect- we have had that reputation for quite some time- one reason why we are still here is because of that and because we recognize a very very loyal local following that comes through our doors week in and week out- so if you believe for one second that this is some kind of veiled attempt at graciousness you are mistaken and probably unfortunately believe that you should be treated as less of a human being by the person on the other side of the ropes. one more thing- why i do what i do for the people on this board- not because i need ten more bodies through the doors- because these people are involved, have energy, and are a voice-- it is that simple. kris.
