thanks everyone-- I didnt even know there was a thread about the cd over here on the miami board.... Feel free to pass it along to anyone who wants to check it out. Eric-- I play a lot of trance and tech and other stuff-- I just kept this cd very vocally and tribally b/c thats how i play up here in NY/NJ. Sadly, unless your name is PVD, Tiesto, AVB, ect, no one up here wants to hear some really great tracks that are trancy or techy. But i do play at least an hours worth on my live show which airs thursdays 4-7pm on metromixradio.... i'll post the link for it tomorrow when its on Again thanks for the supp't. i didnt hear anythin about snow? either way, for my money this seems to be the best value in the city this year... I remember years past and it always seems there is one huge party with many DJ's....2 yrs ago it was Exit and United We Dance with Ojeda, Vicious, Draper, Santana, Tsettos, and a whole bunch of others.. Last year it was exit with Oakenfold, Draper, Santana, Ink and a whole bunch of others This year the closest we have to that is Roxy i think. Everywhere else is a one man show basically. For me, TGiving eve is a night to go out and see combinations of DJ's that you wouldnt see any other night so roxy seems to be the spot. If i get outta NJ early enuff from my gig i will def head up and check it Mike

Honestly, the only buzz about JP going there was started by people who didnt know any facts With Calderone there 2 saturdays, JP wont be there saturdays i assume-- and i do not know what they plan for fridays Besides, JP deserves something where he'll be there week in and week out i think. Crobar just isnt for him at this point. Either way lets keep this post about Crobar and how insane calderone is gonna be there.

tweakin was redic crazy night--one of the craziest I've seen at Deko-- Thanks to Richie, Binoy and the whole crew for letting me up in there to open up JAR seemed to be having a great birthday as did Laurie. maybe b/c it was all speculation and nothing was definite yet... and as for that MTV special...that was nuts. That lady was beyond psycho. She had some serious issues. As for the DJ guy, i didnt see anything wrong with him-- 20 hour days at SF arent normal by any stretch, but so long as i didnt see him doin any drugs or anything-- if thats how he chooses to spend his time, more power to him... and one more note-- as for JP behind the decks-- technically I got maddddd respect for a DJ that has so much CREATIVTY-- as far as the way he layers songs, the effects he uses, dropping accapellas to the point where the whole club is singing, things like that. Im not a SF head by far but regardless of what he brought in, the energy and creativity he gave out every week will definitely be missed in NYC. Mike

nah i agree about the influx of SF threads, its kinda a big event when the DJ holding one of the longest residencies in NY calls it quits but still.... Me, a mix master extrodinare? I wouldnt go that far. I personally don't like Sander. Just a matter of taste. Howells is awesome. My point was whatever DJ's you or I or anyone considers "REAL" may be shit to someone else. Thats the only point i was making. Tonight Im going to see PVD. Some people think he deserves his #2 ranking in that DJ Mag List.
