what up exgroove! glad you've had fun with exit saturdays... i'll definitely check that out this winter... i'm more familiar with fridays--which, despite the stigma, are awesome most of the time... personally, i would like it if the crowd were a little bit better, but from what i've heard, lately it has been changing for the better... but i think its so big, and there are so many different types of people, that you can find what you're looking for. in the end, it all comes down to the music, no?

what up? hey, someone posted on this thread, asking about saturday night parties at EXIT, sayin that they were tired of the teeny night on friday and feel like exits gonna let saturdays die out... saturdays are going thru a face-lift right now from how they were just a few weeks ago... it's a later party--guestlists are open till 4am and junior spins all day on sunday... plus, tsettos & ojeda opened up a residency and are worth checking out. not sure what the vibe has been since the changes--i've heard mixed things... but if its a later party and an older crowd you want, you should definitely check out EXIT on sat. nights... i'm pretty curious to see how saturdays are now at exit... i've been in texas for months--i might try to check it out sometime this winter... see ya chip

happy birthday brutha! 21 is a good age to be what did you do for your bday? something fun i hope... involving lots of alcohol, some great music, and some sordid mishaps.

ok, so let's say that draper is under contract with EXIT and absolutely must spin every friday night... i think what imdagspot was trying to say earlier by "stepping aside" not necessarily taking the entire night off, but just maybe playing a much shorter set before or after the headlining dj... let's say pVd comes in one night--thus making chip's christmas complete-- let him do what he does best and destroy the decks for 5+ hours.. let draper warm things up maybe till about 1 or 2... that way, he's still fulfilling his contract obligations, still playing a decent set, while also allowing one of the top djs in the world the chance to captivate his audience for hours. personally, i can get into draper... i agree about the 'why change things' mentality... i just think things can be altered whenever you get a hot dj to spin. just my take on things. chip

ouch! thems fightin' words i'd love to see pvd at EXIT... from the reviews of judge jules, it looks like the club is on the right track... i'd love to see it continue with a hot lineup in january... i'm really curious about the newly revamped saturday party... sounds like a real unique idea, the later party and all... if anyone goes, lemme know how it is. junior spinnin till sunday afternoon? that's pretty sick. chip

i feel you man... when the hot djs come in, the resident should just kind of take off for the night, or just maybe warm things up in the beginning... somethin to consider if your runnin a club. see ya at tiesto you still hittin ROXY for vicious? should be a sick night. chip

So EXIT has an absolutely awesome lineup this month... judge jules... dj tiesto... george acosta... denny/ojeda/vasquez on saturdays... some of the hottest djs in the world. yeah, i'm stayin in tonite too... not like there's much to do where i am anyway--central texas... got a swahili final tomorrow... i might try to hit austin, tx next week before i get back home to jersey... awesome club scene down there--not like ny though. almost back to NYC!!! can't wait for dec. 14 at EXIT!!! i'm gonna let loose like it's my job to do so. see ya there. chip
