anybody know what Limelight is gonna look like when it reopens? i heard it reopens on the 5th, but i could be wrong. i've only been there once (when scot project played there over the summer) and it was hot as hell!! it was kinda small too, but i guess that added to the experience......

we actually had a girl do that for 2 straight years here at school (in PA)... she kept doing it until her teachers/cafeteria people told her that she hadda wear shoes cuz it was unsafe for her. she said she did it because she didn't like shoes and didn't mind being different....... ..... to each his/her own... personally, i like wasting $80+ on sneakers and shoes..

hell yeah.. some people just make generalizations about people they don't know.. i've never met a person on LI who thought the city was just a bunch of drugged out losers.. WTF

yeah, i haven't been able to check that place out yet, but i really want to. it looks classy. i should be able to go in a couple weeks when i get a fake... until then, it's Oscars and Cockeyes for me...... thanks for the tip, Cesarleo. you go here?

yeah, Scranton itself is a little better--there are a couple shitty malls (nothing compared to Roosevelt Field on LI), a few bars, and lots of college kids' houses. unfortunately, there aren't any DECENT clubs... i hear there's one down in Wilkes-Barre but I heard it sucked so i haven't checked it out yet......

yeah, i'm in my 3rd year... some guys who go here rented out Tinks last week and made it into a club--hip hop on the first floor and house/trance upstairs... the house/trance was good but the DJ didn't play any of the stuff i requested.. i guess he had his own set lined up and he didn't wanna get off it... there wasn't that much of a turnout either. oh well. it was still something to do to mix up the dullness of scranton.
