Hey I have just arrived from Germany, but I have to find out how NY clubs are. Tell you after I partied here for a couple of weekends. Well just thinking of it. Its probably not gonna be that much fun. I want to stop doing drugs over here. At east the ones I have to pay for. Give me free drugs please. Otherwise I will be going on how bad clubs are around here. I haven't even smoked pot since Thursday. Oh my god I am seeing white mice everywhere!

This was really funny. It was at another club in Berlin. The Sage club (www.sage-club.de) where they have got a nice VIP area with a pool. This one guy jumped in naked and after a while one bouncer came there telling him to get out, but without showing anything. Well you can probably imagine how hard t is to get out of a pool sibgle handed. So he tried to get out pissing the bouncer off big time, because he was showing off his asshole so badly that all the gay guys had a big fucking buldge in thir pants. that was so funny:o

... but there is this club called KitKat in Berlin. Its a club that is full on focused on sex. Gay, Hetero etc. etc. So when I went in there I was kinna expecting everything (Men only without shirts!) but this was far too much for me. In this one corner there was this on woman lying down and there were these two men who had there arm (!!) in her. That was fucking disgusting.

I know what you mean, I have been to the Love Parade and the MAyday, but nothing beats a good night out in the clubs!!! (at least not for me)

... I think that if were going to start trying to build up european DJ's we should identfy and support our home raised ones and this way we never have to want CREAM or GATECRASHER again. That's definately a good thing but I thing some external input is always a good thing. There always were DJ's from all arond the world at the clubs I went to together with the locals. I always liked the change. That way you don't get stuck with the same kind of music for years, and the locals develope much faster as well.

I have just read the rest of the posts and I don't get why you are always talking aboutthese big events. Don't you think some smaller club with 500 - 1000 (or less) people would be better to host some new to the US (maybe underground) DJ from europe. It would be much easier to get him a name, and then you would be able to listen to these DJ's on a normal weekend. As I said on my earlier post, the the underground DJ's won't be that expensive (esspecially not with that exchange rate). They would only cost about $250 per hour. Why not just try it? Won't people in New York go for something not well known or whats the problem with that.

But especially at those kinna events it would be easy to get some european DJ's. They don't want a lot of money for it. They would probably come to New York for the flight, hospitality, accomodation and some pocket money. Would be easy to give NY clubbers something new without a lot of financial risc.

I just want to say that eBay is doing good business and that I know quite a lot of people who have sold items or bought items through eBay and that it worked out really good. This was in Germany, but I think the recommondation is can be transferred to the US.

On my flight to New York I sat next to this Indian guy who had too much spicy food and too mny beans. That was fucking yuckieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! I had to stand that guy for 7 hours, no escaping.

What clubs do I have to go to to find Disco, Vocal, French House. I would love to check every place out, but I don't have the money (at least not until I find a job) and the time.

Definately. I was in this club in Germany two weeks ago (www.bungalow-club.de) and this chic was running around trying to find people for the German version of the show (Yes MTV Germany does exist) but noone was going for it. She was kinna getting desperate because everyone was ignoring her after they heard what it was about. I saw the show today (and yesterday 5 times) and I think the end was, that the car of this one chic got stolen, because the bitch she flipped with left the car keys inside and everything.

To tell her that she should ask him sounds really good, because she hopefully gets the hint, that there is something wrong with the relatoinship. If she never asks, maybe drop some kinna comment in that way. But I still think it would be the best thing to have a "man to man" conversation with your brother. But decide for yourselve

I would not say that I know a lot of DJ's but I know a few. Definately I know my way around the German (House) club scene. I think there is quite a few really good underground DJ's from europe that would love to spin in NY, but they do not get any support (they won't be hired) from the US until they are famous and commercial and have totally overdrawn expectations. So I have to agree with you enderwiggin.

Oh my god, that definately sound fucked up and cheap! I feel really sorry for you. Maybe attack is the best defense. Just go like oh yeah true give the adress of your agency and I will come around tomorrow. Maybe we can go out afterwards. But unfortunately I have no time today. ????? Here comes something that worked for me (when I was in Australia though). I got this fake international student ID from Thailand (cost me $10) and with my foreign accent no bouncer rejected me. Suppose you gotta learn a foreign accent for it. I think the best thing is some kinna european accent as it worked out fr me.

I think that is no good. If you don't want her to get hurt I definately think you should give your brother a hard time. It's your brother, so he should be able to take advice from you. Otherwise I think you might kinna feel responsible for the girl being hurt by your brother. You have seen it coming, but you just sat back and watched.
