my first problem was that i can't write to the disc...meaning the hard drive...it's a cd inside da damn ting...and phuturephunk what do you mean by what type of scan...and phuture if i backup my hard drive(i can write to cd's...and if i have too it'll take like 3 10 packs)...could i reformat the drive and recover the bad sectors...assuming that what you said is true about discounting the bad sectors...i still have to wait a few weeks to do it though if i decide too...this guy who helped me with everyting on my comp(harddrives, cd burners etc...)no offense to you phuturephunk the guy i'm talking about works for a company that makes hard drives for other companies...he just made a multiple peribyte server for another company(it goes byte, megabyte, gigabyte, terabyte, peribyte...) what he says to do i'm gonna do...but tanks...i was hoping for someone to say hey just go here, then there, then there, and it's all fixed...none of this reformatting shits...lata...pe@ce...

okay, on my first post(harddrive problem 1)...i asked you guys if you could help me cuz my shit was fucked up...woudln't let me write on the disc, missing sectors that shit...well now i fixed the problem last night(i scanned my messed up drive for errors and recovery of bad sectors)...it was all fixed...well bout' 5 min afta that...i looked to see how much room i had left on the now fixed drive...before is said 48.8 gigs left...8.96 used...well now it says 34.1 gigs used...20.3 left...how IN THE FUCK DID THAT HAPPEN...any takers?????...thanks ahead

i found a track labeled jonathan peters - sunshine wmc 2001 mix on ag...it was the last track i had on my sattelite list...i left it running over night and i dled 300 megs...30 tracks (i know madd slow only 56 k)...and i remember it should be that last one i dled...but it mysteriously dissapeared...i think jp's henches got it from me...lol... :D :D

i'm running windows 2000...my main drive is 11.4 gigs and it's NTFS...my "music" drive is 60 gigs and it's fat32...there's also another problem...i have my "a" drive which is my floppy...my music drive is "c"...my cd drive is "d" my cd burner is "e" and my main drive is "f"... i'm wondering that when i installed my new drive it switched drive letters...my main drive is suposed to "c"...but my new drive is "c" and supposed to be "f"...if you need more info about my comp just ask...i'm desperate...the guy who fixes my comp for me just went on vacation a week ago...for a month he won't be back till early jan. no songs for a month...are you fucking crazy

when i go to d/l shit from my aol mailbox...it says i need more room on my drive to d/l this file...well i just bought a 60 gig drive and i have about 48.8 gigs left...and when i d/l stuff from like morpheus...it works the whole time until i shut down my comp...when i start my comp and go to that file it says file not found...when i open a mp3 file it just plays the first second of the song over and over and over and over...until i press stop...when i try to put a file on me new drive it says: cannot copy?: error perfroming inpage operation... whu da fuk is dat shit...my drive worked fin for like 2 weeks now it says that shit...there are a bunch of other errors i get but none more important than those

is ne1 out there know alot about computers...someone who knows alot about hard drives???
