  1. I could be mistaken, but I'm fairly sure the guy's 24. For the level of success he is gaining worldwide, I still say he's pretty young. Freeland Bio at Bedrock Freeland Bio at AM Only Peace, FX
  2. I've heard that the show is really quite good. Uberzone's new full length is quite varied in style which I greatly appreciate and the young Mr. Freeland might be well worth the trek up there to see. I think I might show for that one.
  3. I like to give my best wishes for upcoming holidays wayyyyyy in advance! Thanks for the warm welcome, and happy Labor Day! Peace, FX

This should be fun, brotha! Best of luck to all that enter, and may the best DJ win!!! Peace, FX
  5. Greetings and salutations!!! My name is Felipe Xavier Aspillaga - That's where FX is derived. I hail from beautiful Miami, FL. Meng suggested I come on over here and check out this board. I've been somewhat of a lurker for a lil' while and appreciate the views and perspectives you guys have regarding our scene here in Miami. I've been spinning records for about 6 years and have played a handful of really memorable parties. Currently, I have a weekly online audio/video broadcast on The Womb called Storytellers. It's a live show on Saturday Evenings from 6-8PM (EST) Some background about me as a DJ: Everything I have learned regarding electronic music was as a result of my presence at Simons in Gainesville from '95-'99. Having the opportunity to listen to the very finest DJ's and artists of all genres of electronic music gave me a very open mind in terms of influence and style. While in school, I earned my Bachelor's in Landscape Architecture. I realized early on in my design sequence that I had the ability to tell stories in my design projects. When I decided to start spinning, it was obvious...I would tell stories through music. I view every record in my collection as a paragraph...I then assemble these paragraphs together to tell stories. This isn't your typical "I'm gonna take you on a journey" type of jibber-jabber...the demos I have done are depictions of my thoughts, experiences, emotions, and myths. If you wish to learn more about my style, jump on over to my website, which I have just recently completed: DJFX Online. There you can read up on the stories behind each of my featured demos (Been Around The World, A Love Story, and Heaven are personal fav's!), check out the tracklistings that have constructed these stories, and click on links that will take you to my stations on Live 365. I look forward to joining the online familia of Miami clubbers and sharing opinions and views regarding this scene with all of you. Have a fantastic Memorial Day weekend, be safe, and have fun! Sincerely, FX
  6. I would be honored to participate in this contest. I checked out cj.com but was not able to find any information regarding it. Peace, FX
