I see what you mean....... Possible solutions....... Get a new pet. Realize being alone is not so bad. You do not have to deal with fights and complaining. Perhaps get a 5ft 2 inch pillow. Involve yourself with something that has a lot of physical contact like yoga, martialarts, khundalini, jk. Maybe cuddle with friends.
