  1. I was partying my ass off in Ibiza but wanted to share it wit ppl who have never been to ibiza or never heard sasha and diggers live, the newbies of the scene, so they can understand wat to expect at the WMC and the new tour, thats all....the truth is that same day i wrote a long ass e-mail to my boys back in the u.s. explaining to them that party so i just copied and pasted everything, im an english major so it wasnt a big deal to write that, its not like i was taking notes while partying in space or anything like that....just sharing some great thoughts about my past, hope to be back in ibiza this summer...
  2. <<<<Just wanted to remind everyone that is getting ready for WMC and s&d's new tour wat they are really about, and why they are the best in the world>>>> Sasha and Digweed @ Space, Sept. 2001 Here's my review of the We Love Sundays at Space party that featured Sasha and Digweed. "After stumbling to my hotel and going to sleep for about 4 hours, I woke up and headed down to Space. I had already been to Space earlier in my trip but everthing I had read about it or even seen the night I was there could not prepare me for what I witnessed. First of all, the Terrace -- words cannot even begin to describe what it is like but I'll try. Picture a sea of people under a mesh canopy that undulates back and forth as the breeze from the large fans positioned in the corners cools the crowd. The sun is shining, people are happy, there is beautiful house music being spun by the resident Space DJs. Suddenly a cheer erupts as an airplane zooms over the Terrace on its way to deposit more happy clubbers to this paradise of an island. And just when you think there is nothing better on earth than this place, right now, two familiar figures enter the booth and the crowd erupts into furious applause - Sasha and Digweed, standing side by side. Digweed starts first with a deep house tune that gets the floor pumping. Sasha takes over for the next track and adds a bit of flavor. They go back and forth for about 2.5 hours, each track complimenting the next. Then, Sasha takes over for the home stretch, playing one of his new compositions that can only be described as very retro. Finally, when you think it couldn't get any better, he drops Expander, draining the last bit of energy from the raucous crowd. It's now midnight and people scatter everywhere. Most, including me, go back inside the club to hear the last of Jimmy Van M. The club is now full of happy people walking and dancing everywhere. Then right at 1AM, Sasha appears again and starts his set. Looking very sinister behind the dark decks, the amber glow of his cigarette illuminating his face, he begins to work his magic. The mood is dark and so is the music -- hard, loud, almost evil. The crowd loves it. He soon gives way to Digweed who proceeds to take it to the next level, culminating in perhaps the best hard trance track I've ever heard. It's now past 6AM and the duo have no intention of stopping now. Digweed mixes in a few classic tracks from their Northern Exposure sessions and Sasha continues his routine of chain smoking, drinking, and bouncing up and down to indicate a big moment in a track is about to happen. Finally, a little after 7AM, Sasha decides to again close with Expander, this time extending the song to a full 10 minutes by mixing it with another track. The lights go on as that magical track ends and the crowd bows down to the gods of the decks, having just born witness to perhaps one of the greatest sets ever." Cya guys at WMC and the new tour!!!

THANX IN ADVANCE FOR ANY ANSWERS
  17. I had the sickest time wit jimmy and lee...they are really both down to earth guys, i was in the vip and jimmy is really cool he talked to me for like a half hour about music the scene traveling everything even the terrorist attack, lee was very friendly also and started dancing wit the crowd late in the night, the music was off the hook but i do agree that they got different styles and it did clash a bit, vinyl is a great club because everyone is themselves overthere and really great ppl who love the music, it really reminds me of twilo, hope to see all u guys next week for danny be yourself on friday night where our very own super dj spins every week!
  18. i got one that says NPA in big wit a picture of a hot girl in the sign of the NBA and then under it it says national pimp association, its really a cool shirt...theres lots of cool shirts at thrift stores in the village and tribeca u can find it all...
  19. i was wit diggers in miami at the wmc and he was the coolest most down to earth guy...chilled wit me and my friends at space while dt was spinning and invited us to his private yacht party...but now the tickets are like 60 bucks and its 21+ to get in i mean wats the deal wit that? i understand that its superstar dj's but do they have to charge so much? i have to go buy a fake id and pray that it works....anways wat do u guys think it is? i mean atleast oakie doesnt have 21+ even though he is the biggest sellout....i really wanna go but now im leaning towards DT at SF..where is everyone going thanksgiving??? and is vinyl having a party that night?
  20. obviously we are all gonna go see S and D they are two of the best dj's in the world and havent been in nyc in a while. I LOVE DIGGERS AND SASHA IS OFF THE HOOK!!! U ALL BETTER BE THERE! SHIT I GOTTA GET MY FAKE ID READY...IS THERE A WAY THEY CAN MAKE IT 18+? LIKE THE TWILO DAYS? GET BACK TO ME GUYS I WANNA BUY A TICKET EARLY BUT DONT WANNA GET SCREWED AT THE DOOR
  21. John Digweed is by far one of the best dj's in the world. i met him in March in the World Music Confrenece in Miami. i was in the dj booth for the Ultra event cause my best friend DJ Raz is his personl friend and i can honestly say i never had a better time in my life. the next day there was a private yacht for only 200 ppl for john digweed and i was invited. john was waiting for everyone to come on the boat and chatted wit everyone. hes really a down to earth kinda guy and has a lot of talent. i was pretty much wit him all weekend and hes really the best out there, except maybe for sasha. as for getting his cd's u should definitly pick up gu19 from la or the hong kong one which i like a lot. he will be in nyc during thanksgiving and i better see all u guys there. :) :D :D
  22. Whats up guys! Vinyl on sat. night was one of the sickest partys of the year, DH is awesome he really rocked the house. I met lots of cool ppl who were dancing all night to danny's sick set. anyone remember me i was wearing a white diesel shirt and was on the dancefloor the whole night. i love the vibe at vinyl and especially that the club is mainly about the music and there is a really family feeling to the club. at around 6 or 7 when only the true clubheads were there i felt real love in the room and danced my ass off even though my foot was fawking killing me. big ups to BIG T (the coolest guy there) the nurse and wizard man who kept us laughing and partying and my boy BKDJ (RAz) big guy and colorful shirt for dragging my ass to vinyl for a fun night of nonstop partying. hope to see all u guys there next weekend for the cd release party at vinyl for the new cream cd. lets have a meetup this time at 7 a.m. when all the true cp ppl are still there and its chilled out in the bar at the back. tell me wat u guys think.
