Tranzwhore, Good guess I am from the Bahamas (but born in Germany) and currently live in the Dominican Republic. Will be in Miami for a few days for business and pleasure. Music - I like trance a la AVB, Tiesto, Micro but leaning more and more towards some house - Deep Dish/Saed & Palash/Lawler Just saw Acosta in Santo Domingo a few weeks ago but had to leave early, was a little dissapointed, the beginning of his set was kinda lame but he started really late when club was fading out - not sure how it was there later. Still might check him out at Maze, club sounds interesting. So psyched to go to club and not hear Merengue or Bachata, that shit driving me insane! Thanks for the info!

I live on the North Coast of the DR (about 3 hr drive from Santo Domingo) and saw Deep Dish in the cave back in December. It was unbelievable. The vibe and music was better then in any club I'd been in SoBe. I will be lookding forward to Edgar V., especially after missing some other hot events like Max Graham, Sandra Collins, and others.

I just wanna know what is what so when people spew out these terms I know what they are talking about. Of course I listen to what I like, it just seems people use these terms so loosely that they contradict many other so called music experts. Where do these terms come from anyway? tribal because of percussion rhythms? so where's 'tech' come from in tech-house? Whats the difference between tech house and prog. house?

Going to see Josh Wink in a club inside a cave in Santo Domingo, Domican Republic, this Friday night. What can I expect from Wink, I know the song 'Higher States of Consciousness' but nothing else? Whats his style? Anyone seen him lately?

I find it amazing how in both club incidents, people got stuck in the door way without being able to leave the premisis. Guess their legs and lower bodies were packed to tight they couldnt move - or people were laying on top of their legs. I wonder if those people were eventually saved, it was horrible to see their faces, just inches from safety but not being able to move. Anyone know what happened to them?

I was there with my girlfriend and it was an incredible event. The vibe, the people, the lasers..were just amazing. We recently moved to the DR and had no idea there was such a large and active underground (literally) scene.
