those 4 students ( actually i only heard about 2 of them) were definatly hti with some MAJOR fines- they were both in NJ colleges if i remember correct and one in particualy was so involved and has such an enormus count of shared mp3s that he was fined ovre 500 thousand dollars in damages ( that amount might have been just a # in the beginning) and the courts might have wanted to actually settle for lesser amount but this just goes to show that this file sharing is totaly out of control- i mean yea- its just like when ppl were coping cassette tapes and passing them around but MY GOD how many did you actually pass out? i think it should just be moderated more and less traffic of mp3s alowed on the net-
