Has anyone on this message board been there? I am looking for a nice 21 and over club to go to for my birthday. I'm curious about the music and what type of crowd party's there. Went to Centro last year and looking for something new. Any info would help.

I thought it was a great night. S n D back on the phazon the way it's supposed to be. I couldn't name more than three tracks that I knew. Great hearing new music. I thought the crowd was fine, eventhough I pretty much stayed in the same spot all night. I Always had room. The only negative thing is it stopped early. They still gave us a solid 5 and a half hours of mind blowing music. Sasha was having a great time behind the decks and Digweed was all business. Seeing them tag team is a beautiful thing. I will never miss a S n D event in New York. Enough said

PVD was insane. He ripped one joint after the next, but then again I expected nothing less. I thought the crowd was great too. People complain of not being able to get to the dance floor, well I didn't have that problem at all. When you looked at the crowd, yeah it was packed, but you can be polite and find your place to dance. Pleased to see a more music loving crowd and there were not that many juice heads. Got there at 9 to avoid lines which i am very glad I did. Left at 8:30 and i'm pissed that I missed for an angel especially since our car got towed anyway. Peace to all the people that had to deal with the NYPD and the towing bullshit. They must of had extra people on staff just waiting to tow all those cars. Bastards. All in all a great night and I will see PVD any chance I can get. What an experience!!!

The Tunnel, New Years 1999. I was going through my old shit the other day and actually even found the ticket. Grace Jones was in the house.

Just checked the paper. Z-Trip, Q-bert, and Dilated Peoples are playing at Irving Plaza on March 18. Tickets are 18.50 advance and 20 at door. Who goin'. ASU represent.

ASU!!! Yo what year did you graduate. Me, May 2000. That little out of the way bar was called Nita's Hideaway. I represented the b-boys several times there. Two crews, Styles and AFA would battle all the time. Z-trip can cut up everything. Mostly hip hop but he is known to mix it up. Best place to promote would be hip hop venues and phat beats. I would see him on that tour, but it wouldn't be the same. You need a small chill venue where people can dance, battle, and observe dj madness. Keep me posted.

I went to Arizona State University and had the priviledge of seeing DJ Z-Trip and the rest of the Bombshelter DJ's everyweek. Z-trip is from AZ and rips it everytime. It was one of the best weekly events in all of AZ. He played at small bars where b-boy crews would battle everyweek. I'll never forget them. They were the only good hip hop in AZ. If they start playing NY, beware, shit will be the bomb. B-boy and dj battles all around. Good music and great vibes. Keep posting on this board if you have any news and check out Z-trip on the Return of the DJ's cd's. I got all three.

Does anyone know where exactly at the South St. Seaport it is going to take place? Is it going to take place in tents with the main arena and the hippe halo tent. I just bought my tickets and would like to know the specifics. Going to be a sick party. I saw Cox at Area One and he ripped it up. Put Oakey to shame that night. Any help would be appreciated.

I was there and it was bangin. Only the second time for me at SF and I wasn't disappointed. I actually went to the Factory to sober up from all the alcohol I drank. Had a good time and danced all night. Didn't hang into the weee hours of the morning, but didn't need too. Peters represented that Sound Factory can throw a party. Can't wait till PVD. Tiesto this friday. I love NYC

It's my first time on this message board. Been checkin it out lately, so I thought I would do my part and post. Been going to Vynil lately and been dancing non-stop for hours on end.
