That sucks another house night and club closing its doors to house music. I heard Nerve was going to shut its doors to House Music and switch the hip hop format. Ive been infolved in night clubs since David Morlaes was the Saturday night resident dj @ the REd Zone in NY (1988). I moved into Miami from NYabout 9 months ago. I love it here and always have a good time when i go out. There is one problem I see with the Miami house market. I noticed its the same 4 djs that play @ every event. There is no new blood. Why would you want to see a dj who plyed saturday night then hear him Sunday. I think the established talent should start getting new blood in so you can attract a new audience. Why not have sundays new house party with some new names with one established talent(Even a roatating opening dj would be nice. (New djs buy records and lead to better records sales) . I would love to hear diffrent types of house music instead of hearing the same tribal records and the same crowed over & over again. Im not knocking any djs. Theres a lot of talent out here. Maybe then House can make a stronger hold in Miami. It seams like Hip Hop has takin over Miami just like NY. Long Live House

What clubs in Europe did you play and what clubs in Miami? If you played in these clubs that you said you played in why would you spin in some dive in Staten Island. Staten Island parties always suck. Something doesnt sound right...

Danny if you some how read this post. Do your self a favor and make the move to Miami. I to use to dj in NY and NY is not the same. It’s the tried up apple. If Bloomberg has his way by next year every night club venue will have to close its doors by 1: am. I am an original New Yorker and will always have a place in my heart for NY. If you are a house music lover, producer or just love the night life Miami will jump start your love of music and life. I can go out every week and hear any type of house. Funky house, tek house, techno, Latin house, trances. Try to do that in NY!!!!!! You name Miami has it? The best dj’s play hear in Miami from domestic talent to international talent. Every week there is something going on. I am happy to say after taking a brake from producing records. Miami has brought that passion back into my soul. I am currently finishing up two tracks. One a Tek house track the other a funky disco track. I love Miami and its diversity. If I were you Danny I would make the move to Miami and visit NY once a month for you residency. What’s up Club Planet? I just moved from NY to Miami last month. I meet some of you guys & girls at the BBQ Saturday night. That my first experience with Club Planet. Had a blast. I use to spin with Jeff Mills @ limelight from 93 to 94 and in Paris for an after Maday party. He is a sick dj. He puts on a show. Constant mixing of records, scrathing, cuting THree tables. He is a real dj. Not like the rest of the big time dj's who get big money and wait for the records to end then start to mix. If you are a dj and want to learn some new tricks or a tek lover you have to go see him. Its worth it
