correctamundo sir. yes, sebastian has been around for a while. but, i first heard him last year @ shine when he opened up for adam freeland. nice wicked-warm-up. then conway then jon cowan...sick night. sebastian is one of the really character dj's around. by character i mean he is a really nice person too. not an arsehole like some herbs i have run into in this city. who charge you $20.00 for a promo cd they are giving away. or those who refuse to let you into there clubs because they are fake and childish. or those that say u r on a guest-lst and then because of ur clothing don't let you in. sebastian is always there to share his muzik with his friends and fans and that's why he has my 100% support.

just picked up this sweet new ep "the mask of aquila" from my favorite techno producer BORIS BREJCHAXXXX "aquila" is a wicked peak time techno track with many swerves and curves. great breakdown and truly a bassline that will make em close there eyes and forget the week. "the mask" is a dddiiirrrtttyyyy minimal/techno track with some sick squeeks and bleeps. yet another successful release form mr. brejcha who rumors have it will make his debut in miami for wmc2009. this guy is up there with radio slave, richie hawtin, heartthrob, marco carola, loco dice, gui borrato, and dubfire. just to name a few. funny thing is his tracks are dddiiiirrrtttiiiieeeerrrrrr. this guys a fu*k*n alien.

i was really happy to see that space is continuing to book lazardi. as a matter of fact the last time i went to space he was playing. that was 7 months ago. i don't work on sunday this sounds tempting. he threw a helluva set down. really impressed by his mixing skills. the only thing missing is dj roland vs. lazardi.

this is why i rarely go to a club anymore. maybe cause i just turned 30 as well and i work every other sunday so it's tough. but if i ever go to a club it's most likely space or shine. the door people are friendly and if i have to pay so be it. 30 bucks is not going to make or break me. but dude i feel for you. it sucks sometimes that's why my new fav club is in my car or home listening to my choonz on my computer.

so i'm in f.y.e. records the other night and i run across this masterpiece of an artist album on disc one with 9 of his own trax and then the gem of his mix cd. wow, this sh*t sounds like a fabric cd. wicked. great intro silky smoothe yet shockingly shaky. feat bombs and booty bumpers from someone else, pheek, swayzak, dub kult, brother's vibe, and lemos. the mix can best be described as the set that i heard many months ago @ crobar....cameoxxxxxx TECHNO!!!!!!!!!! sick even an acid moment on the cd. very impressed. then towards the end he's in peak performance with some tech house and proggy monsters. great buy. this is the kind of mix that the more you here it the better it gets. p.s. my chic loved it too. loved the vocals towards the end.
