And in true Space fashion, it is not going to be a regular Ibiza-style one day closing party, it is going be a full weekend of proper Space Miami closing parties, as befits America's top dance music club for the past decade. So, it's official. Space Miami will be closing in September, much like the Ibiza scene, capped with a massive multi-day event during Labor Day Weekend. The Space Family is going all out for this one and is encouraging all their loyal patrons to rest, relax, and prepare themselves for this massive multi-day marathon. Continuing on their mission to explore the world of cutting-edge dance music, This Saturday night, the Techno Loft crew welcomes back techno heavyweight Alexi Delano. Alexi, dwells in the perfect balance between shiny minimalism and dark vivacious techno. With more than two decades on stage he has been able to combine different roots and facets of the contemporary music scale. Born in Chile but raised in Sweden, Alexi, with fellow Swedes like Cari Lekebusch, Adam Beyer, Jesper Dahlback, Joel Mull and others, became part of some of the first wave of Swedish electronic music producers that made a name for themselves in the mid 90’s. Releasing on techno labels such as Missile, Primate, Hybrid, Svek and many more. With a production and DJ style that sways neatly between house and techno, he consistently surprises with each release.
