I'm not going to get into however, I'm a Senior Application Architect with 8 years in the industry. In the last 3 years I've been layed off twice. I'm tired of it! I'm ultimately not going back into this field for a couple years, during this time I am determined not to fall out of the technology arena by keeping my skills sharped working on personal projects. I keep hope alive thinking that the industry will somehow recover and that the influx in the workforce of semi or non professional technology individuals will hit rock bottom. Senior professionals such as myself will again have the value we once did during the internet boom. okay..... so I got into it. It's a real thorn in my ass.
