  1. I gotta say I've never had a problem at the door of Exit/Earth/IKON. I just went for Danny Tenaglia, we walked right up thru the VIP line, gave our names, got our bracelets and were in the club in less than 5 minutes. When I used to go for Junior Vasquez parties, it was much of the same...walk right in, no door drama.

The only complaints I've ever had of the club was the search...it was a little much, but at the same time that is their job. They are rude though and make you feel very umcomfortable like you've already done something wrong.

Also, they have the worst, unfriendliest bartenders of any club I've ever been to. They've all got attitudes and are slow and shit. Theres always a long wait for a drink and then they do get toy uo, they're all pissy. Boo to that.

Those are my only complaints. I've never been left in the cold or rain, had shady door people complaining about what I'm wearing...etc...I'm sure it happens though, just never to me.

  2. once a month at the roxy

Where do you people get your info from??

Danny still lives in NY...he hasn't moved to Miami yet, although he still might but he hasn't yet.

He's not doing a residency at the Roxy once a month. Right now he's just doing spot dates in NYC and wherever else he decides he wants to play. He's in Ibiza right now, then he's comin home to spin some NYC dates...Roxy @ Thanksgiving being one of them.

  3. He's leaving because the building was sold..it's not really his choice. But he's taking the opportunity to move to Miami. He said he'll probably no monthy parties at the new venue that will be holding the Arc party...which they have found yet.

Yeah, pretty much.. although I would have fun there cuz I knew everyone and would get trashed. But the crowd at Kurfew when it was in Tunnel was special...they all got dressed really funky and creatively...it was just a different breed of people which I really appreciated even though I was always just one of the "normal" kids..it was great seeing some of the outfits and different personalities.

i agree, alot changed once tunnel closed...

Even around the time tunnel closed, EVERYONE talked shit about it, so it became more "Underground"

and with the shit talk. i think the last year was a slow downward spiral, but once it left tunnel, it lost its "Magic" and i think tunnel had alot to do with that, it was just cool to have our own little part of the club, but still be able to get fucked up, and walk around that monster ass space, lol

    Sketch...with a Twist! lol

Yeah, it was like our own secluded part of the club that we could party in...it almost felt a lil exclusive because the straight boys weren't allowed, but we could romp around their section if we pleased. It was fun...plus the Fuzzy Room was just great! Although it was 100 degrees in there, it was always FUN and yes...a safe haven to be as messy as you pleased. :)

Nah, they're separate...although Jeff tried to work his way into Gay College Party it didn't work out. I saw Jeff handing out flyers in front of the Roxy recenty..lol. The party moved from Tunnel to Twirl which was an OK party but it definatley died at the Tunnel...it was never the same after that. I'd like to see the Kurfew parties come back at some point...they were fun.
