  1. I'm planning a trip in either Jan or Feb of next year and was wondering if there are any other parties besides Ferry Corsten @ Crobar or AVB @ Spirits? I would like to catch 2 exceptional DJs in the same weekend; one on Fri and the other on Sat. If anyone has any more info on future parties, let me know. I greatly appreciate it. Thanks!!
  2. FERRY CORSTEN!! 2 MORE DAYS!! Ferry is by far, in my opinion, one of the best trance DJs I've ever heard and when he spins, he brings tremendous amount of energy to the place. I can't wait to see him Sat night. 4 HOUR SET...HELL YEAH!! Then TIESTO in a month!! My 2 most fav DJs!! BTW, Bling, are you on the TranceAddict post also?
  3. Thank you Sapexec and Grooveeric. I'm heading down to Miami Sat afternoon with my girl and another guy friend and we were planning on checking out BED and/or Nikki Beach before Space that night. Will one hot girl be able to get both of us in or should we bring another female?
  4. Can anyone tell me what time Ferry Corsten will be on this Sat @ Space? I don't want to miss any part of his incredible set. And can you purchase tickets in advance or have to wait in line like everyone else? Also, how hard is it to get in to clubs like Nikki Beach, Opium Garden, and BED? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks CP'ers Max
  5. As long as I am not wearing white shoes, I'm good to go? Thanks dude. Max
  6. I'm going to see DJ Tiesto this Sat. night @ Space and was wondering if there was a dress code there? Baggy jeans & tennis shoes okay? Also, how much is cover? Anyone know what time slot Tiesto is spinning? I can't wait to see this badass motherf*@ker spin!! I saw Ferry Corsten this year and he was awesome!! This will complete my list of DJs to see and then I could die a happy man. tongue: Thanks for the info in advance. Max
  7. Where is this place located at? Is there a web-site I can check out to find more info? Thanks.
  8. I was wondering if anyone know of any goth clubs in NYC? Let me know. Thanks ppl.
  9. ...like I knew he would. I've been dying to see FC perform and last night I was not the least disappointed. He worked an amazing 2 1/2 hour set!! It was awesome!! I was expecting a 70-80 minute set since that's how long his sets at Holland, Oslo, and places like that last. I danced the entire time because everything he played was sick, including my fav Solar Coaster. I was dead tired towards the end of his set but then he played the new mix of Out of the Blue. How could I resist the best trance anthem song ever released by FC? So I grabbed some Gatorade and headed back out on the dance floor. As for GLOW, I liked the setting and the lights. But I'd have to agree with everyone on the sound. Does it have to be so damn ear-bursting loud?! The place either needs to be a little bigger or make those none-dancing ppl step to the side instead of taking up space on the dance floor. I did witnessed more ppl dancing at this event than when Judge Jules was at Club Exit. I could not complain about the price of water as oppose to $5-6 at most NYC clubs and the availability of Gatorade. I didn't see any place to sit down except for the VIP area. What's with that? People get tired from dancing and need to rest but I guess there's not reallly room for that. I didn't get harrassed at the door for my club attire like I thought I would so that was great. I went solo and met some cool ppl at the club who were very friendly. At an event like this, everyone should be friendly and happy. PLUR baby!! All in all, I would come all the way from NYC to see the big name djs again. It was worth every penny. This was the best club I've been to since moving to NYC.
  10. Hi. I was wondering if anyone could give me directions to GLOW. I'm getting there by way of train from NYC so I'll be getting off at Union Sq. train station in DC. Where do I go from there? Can I catch a bus? Thanks.
  11. I'm thinking about going to SF tonight to hear Jonathan Peters. I hear that around 4-5 am is the best time to go. But is there a dress code? If so I'm not goin. Thanks peeps.
  12. I was wondering if there was a dress code tonight @ WH for this Anaconda event? If so, please advise me on how to dress accordingly. I was planning on wearing a polyester black/white top with black raver-like nylon pants (so sweat doesn't stick to me) and a pair of black And1 slip-ons. Or should I throw on some timberlands because sneaks aren't allowed? Thanks for any input in this matter.
  13. JV, Baez, Hector, Syrax, and Gielen are spinning tonight @ WH. At least that's what the flyers says. I bought my tix in advance through club addict com for $30 so I don't think they're gonna go for $15 at the door. I'll be one pissed off M.F. if this is not the line-up.
  14. I was wondering if anyone knows the name and artist of the first song Danny Howells played Sat. night which contained some sexy girl's vocal and was trancey melodic house? If questioning about which one, name all of them because he didn't play that many with vocal background. Thank you.
  15. I think early admission means get there before 1 am. I signed up for the guestlist since I figured it couldn't hurt saving a couple of bucks if they were using the list that night. You would only save $5 but hey that's a bottle of water right? In any case, you would have to arrive before 1 am.
  16. I bought my tickets for $30 from the webpage. Webster Hall is not promoting this event so I wouldn't think you would be able to purchase tix from them. Plus, $15 is a little cheap when they're going to be charging $40 or more at the door. Hope this helps.
  17. I agree...Open Your Eyes is a pretty great track. I can't wait to see Tiesto @ Area 2.
  18. It's pretty crowded early in the night but around 3-4am, you can actually dance. DH vs DT, I would say it's a packed-house the entire night/morning. So from 1am-10am, it doesn't really matter when you go.
  19. By the way, thanks for the tip, CD and Vixenfoxxy. I really appreciate all the insights because I know what to expect now. Any of you going to Johan Gielen @ Webster Hall 7/3 or is everyone going to Exit to see Oakey with all the jr juiceheads? There's no dress code @ WH since they rented the place out to promoters of this event and I've been waiting to see Johnny Vicious spin as himself, not KTU style. It's Vicious, Eddie Baez, Hex Hector, and the headline, Johan Gielen of Swenson & Gielen. He's a bad ass!!! Tix are only $30 as oppose to $40 for Oakey.
  20. Awh Shit! I hope they don't have a dress code for a bad-ass event like this. I can't be dancing in freakin khakis and timberlands and dressin all proper. It just ain't me. So I should bring a change of clothing to the club just in case Michael Jackson the doorman turns me away? I'm prolly going there solo so I wouldn't mind meeting some of you there. If you see a tall 6'1 asian guy w/ glasses and a psychedelic black/white shirt, say "HI."
  21. That would be the SHIT!! I would give up my left testicle to see this one. Tiesto and Ferry Corsten presenting GOURYELLA again would be the greatest party on the planet. Except that that's never ever going to happen because Tiesto hates Ferry. I wouldn't mind seeing Armin Van Buuren vs Andre Tanneberger. That would off the fouckain chain!!
  22. It's pretty sick! Then again, I think all of his stuff is the shit. The Tiesto remix of Paul Oakenfold's-Southern Sun is off the fouckain chain!! I can listen to this track over and over and over...
  23. I must be the only one who hasn't heard DH's music. Does he spin house also? If his shit energizes the crowd, that's all I care about because I'm there. I'm prolly going there solo so I'm hoping to meet some cool peeps there. I'm the 6'1 asian guy w/ glasses in a psychedelic black/white shirt.
  24. Hi. I'm from Brooklyn and planning on going to see Ferry Corsten, one of my fav DJs, at GLOW 7/13. How does this club compare to some of the clubs in NYC like Exit and Vinyl? Exit is filled with a bunch of shirtless meat-heads but otherwise, it is an awesome club. Vinyl is more of an underground raver's club and very nice but it's small. How does GLOW compare to the two? I'll have a good time regardless but it'll be even better surrounded by a bunch a happy ravers, such as myself, who can appreciate the music.
  25. If anyone knows anything about the George Acosta @ World event this Sat. night, please share it with me. And is there a dress code for this? Thanks.
