I dong fully agree about SF nowadays. The reason..... Cause I witnessed it first hand when JP just started there coming from Robots. That was the best year that place has ever seen, and one of the best parties in New York ever. I cant dig JP's new style quite as much.... and the vibe is more conservative nowadays there. But then again, the are no such things as facts on a subject like this.... just an opinion. Boris at Roxy was a blast! I remember that very well! It was one of those RARE spots that had great music, and hot single girls. Wow, what an aphrodisiac that party was!!! The closest thing nowadays in my opinion was Junior's b-day in August. In fact that was one of the best nights in the history of NYC.

Club Usa (mid 90's) Palladium (Arena) Twilo (All the time, Fri & Sat) *This is my vote for #1 club of all time Tunnell (mid 90's) Soundfactory (The new.... didn't close down, but the parties are just not the same as when they first opened that place) Now for the Friday night raver crowd we have Roxy still left..... And for the Hardcore Saturday night till sunday afternoon partyers there is Exit. The only thing that's REALLY changed in my opinion is the sexuality aspect. The raw sexual nature of clubs is not like it used to be. But maybe things will change now with a new mayor... maybe a new vibe will be born again.... What's the most rare party in the world nowadays? A straight party, with underground, incredible music... and HOT single girls. Not talking about the grungy baggy jean sweatshirt girls. I'm reffering to the hot dressed up, sexy girls. SF.... got the hot girls..... but they are not single. Exit.... got the sick music.... but not the girls. Spa.... got the hot siingngle girls... music SUCKS! Does anybody know of a club like I'm reffering to here? Kinda like Earth, except more on the straight side. Kinda like Twilo used to be. Maybe I'm just dreaming

DJ VIBE Never heard of. Where I can I find his stuff? and SAEED AND PALASH....... Very true. Good call buddy. I totally forgot about them. Saeed and Palash c.d. in my opinion is one of the best ones out there for people that like it hard, with a tribal twist. Very underground as well.

O.K. Cool. Those are some pretty interesting answers. Junior was no surprize.... I heard him spin the sickest tribal set in years at his B-Day in August. The guy that said "earth is a joke compared to juniorverse" is right. But the B-day night was probably better than any event during juniorverse. Let's put it this way... Junior played a ridiculous 12 hour hard set from 5am till about 5pm.... after that it was pretty up and down, but still amazing. And when I left at 7pm, the place literally had no place to move. And this place is WAYYY bigger than twilo! They shut the party down at 12:30am Monday. Lawler I also heard, and do agree to some extend. His style gets a little slow at times and is not quite as hard, but still it's very dark, underground and sexy tribal. These are the dj's I need to check out, cause I've never heard them spin. That Kid Chris, Rick Pier O'Neill, Oscar G, Tom Stephan, David Quest. I'm surprised nobody else said Boris. I guess it's rare when he plays. It's like twice a month on KTU at like 3 in the morning. I once put it on in my stereo, and I couldn't believe that I was hearing that shit on the radio! It took me right back to memories of the dancefloor while in allllterred stttattttess

I want to see what the people on this board think. My experience has been Junior Vasquez on nights like his birthday... and sometime Dj Boris plays it on KTU. I'm talking about the hard, dark and aggressive NYC tribal beats. Not the mellow, slow stuff some of the european dj's are playing lately.

Junior started playing good music around 4:30am and the good music lasted until about 7:00am.... And then... after 7am the shit he started playing was un-real!!! There is no way he was just spinning records that night. A lot of that was created right there on the spot with his equiptment. I left at 5pm, and the enitre place was still completely full with barely any space to move. And exit is one big fuckin club! I went with a friend that loves to go to sound factory, and always refused to go to hear junior.... he went there expecting the worst.... by 10am he told me he has NEVER seen such a crazy party in his entire life. He is now a dedicated Junior fan and cant wait to do it again.

My prayers go out to Junior, and I really hope he survives. Anyone that heard him mix at the black party and memorial day weekend knows that his skills were FAR from over. Besides all he has done up to date, he still has a lot to offer many, so I hope his health will prevail.

That's only on a Friday. You need to check out Saturday night's party with Junior Vasquez. If you like Hard House, Tribal, and progressive... catch Junior on a big event like his B-day, and I guarantee you'lle hear the sickest set ever! The best time to go is around 3 - 4am, and then the party keeps going till well past sunday afternoon, and on big events the parties go until sunday night.
