PUNK KIDZ 'CHOCOLATE ROOM' Max Linen, the mastermind behind one of the biggest Ibizan anthems of 2001, the eerie Soul Shaker, returns under a new moniker, with another multidimensional house tune to remember. Despite all the brooding psychedelic bleeps and stereophonic noises which whizz from speaker to speaker, Chocolate Room is a deceptively downtempo cut. Max lays down a gentle, filtered tribal rhythm which takes the emphasis off your usual four-four beat, making it perfect for both pre and post-clubbing moments. Producer D Ramirez, who was responsible for Soul Shaker's phattest remixes, has done good work here, adding chunky, metallic basslines plus a few robotic grooves to his reworkings, which are also included in this package

Tiny and I are going to see Episode II on the IMAX screen tonight. I've heard different things about the movie itself but to see those effects on the big ass screen should be pretty sweet. Last good movie I saw . . . wow that was a while ago. Red Dragon I think?

I'm not sure I consider it shameful, but the worst night I ever had at BuZz was the night Satoshi spun this past winter (jan. or feb.). It was my first time back to BuZz since spring 2000 and I was so excited but the suckiness of the tracks took all my energy and I just stood around. Shameful in that I couldn't rise above the bad music I guess, but it was *really* bad (as always tiny will back me on this). I'm always ashamed when I get tired -- unless I get to I zonk out around 3 a.m. *hangs head* I need some lessons on how to not look like this so early on.

I *really* hope to make it, I have to work out transportation issues (any help?). I've never been to Trust! I'm itching to go out, and to see Howells again. . .

It's another HFS thingy. . .

This is pretty run-of-the-mill by Vermont standards -- it's funny to sit back and watch DC'ers freak out over a few inches of the powdery stuff. . .the attempts at plowing are downright hilarious! I've never seen a city population with so many SUV's and absolutely no idea how to use 'em.

I am at work, and I am *not* happy about it. This is the one thing that's bad about living ten minutes from work -- I can walk in. Oh well, I came in half an hour late in a show of protest. . . to a bunch of empty, dark offices. *crossing my fingers we get out early*
