  1. "My Mother" by Jack Byrnes You gave me life. You gave me milk. You gave me courage. Your name was Angela. An Angel from Heaven. But you were also an angel of God. And he needed you too. I selfishly tried to hold on to you, While the cancer ate away at your organs, Like a rebel force. And now we'll meet in heaven. And I shall see you Nevermore. Nevermore. Nevermore.

  10. gleaned from mtv.com Diddy is also serious about branching out musically with an upcoming dance album. The LP will feature production from some of the world's premier techno studio wizards, his spokesperson said. The hush-hush album doesn't have a title or release date yet. Inspired by a recent trip to Ibiza, P. Diddy teamed up with such hot producers as the Iranian-American duo Deep Dish, Chicago's Felix Da Housecat and British deity Nellee Hooper (Soul II Soul, Massive Attack, Björk, Madonna). The rapper premiered the album's first single, Let's Get Ill, a duet with singer Kelis, at the DanceStar American Dance Music Awards on March 19.

  15. from RollingStone.com John Digweed will release his first feature film soundtrack for Stark Raving Mad starring Seann William Scott (American Pie, Dude, Where's My Car). The flick follows a band of thieves who put on a rave as a distraction for the bank heist they pull next door. Producers Drew Daywalt and Dave Schneider recruited Digweed, who is best known for his mix discs on the Global Underground label and his own Bedrock imprint, to give the score authenticity and fluidity. "The directors, they were kind of fans," Digweed says. "They really liked the whole Bedrock sound. They were fans of that music and they wanted to give their film a real club feel. We kind of hooked up and hit it off well." The DJ, along with his production partner Nick Muir, started work on the project in August of 2001, composing nearly two dozen original tracks. "It was quite a big undertaking," Digweed says. "As hard work as it was, it was something which I think we both really, really enjoyed." Also included on the soundtrack, which will be released on Thrive Records, are tracks by Moonface, Pole Fodder, Voyager and other electronic artists. "There's a whole kind of mixture of stuff," Digweed says. "There's ambient and chilled stuff in there along with the club stuff and bits of dialogue and everything else." Stark Raving Mad, the film and soundtrack, are tentatively due in the spring.
