  1. From the "Hollywood is out of ideas" department. . . Kylie for Grease 3 January 23, 2003 OLIVIA Newton-John and John Travolta have signed up for Grease 3 - with Kylie Minogue to play their teenage daughter, reports say. Newton-John wanted her daughter Chloe, 16, to appear with her in the movie, in which her character Sandy and Travolta's character Danny return to Rydell High for a 20-year reunion. But studio chiefs have signed Minogue, 34, to play the teenager instead, British newspaper the Daily Star says. "Kylie definitely doesn't look anything like her age and shouldn't have any problem playing a teenager," an insider told the paper. "Anyway, it's worked before because Olivia was 30 herself when she played Sandy in 1978." Grease was a worldwide hit. But Grease 2, starring Michelle Pfeiffer and Maxwell Caulfield, flopped. Original cast members Newton-John, 54, Travolta, and Stockard Channing, who played Rizzo, have agreed to appear, the paper said. "I had tea with John the other day and he is really interested," Newton-John was quoted as saying. "Grease 2 didn't work because they didn't use us." There was no indication of when filming would start.

  3. Re: Buzz -- just made 11 nonsense posts on their board, so that's half the battle. Re: WMC -- the inner-battle continues. . . if you want you could start a "Call Cookie's boss and get her a raise and more vacation days" thread. Re: NYC -- I really really really want to come up some time. What are the next few things that ya'll will be doing up there?

Oh my oh my, that level of FUBAR-osity should never be reached on a worknight. Arrrrgh, laughing hurts. .

  6. Yeah John LeClair is from my hometown (before the Flyers I followed him @ Montreal - SHUT UP it was when they were good ). Flyers are in DC playing the Caps in early March I think, I'm trying my damndest to go.
  7. Yeah I hate how those damn Devils save it up and play safe all season then blow us away in the playoffs.
  8. Oh sorry, didn't see that question there amongst the massive sig pics. . No not the Leafs. . . I like Philly, although I haven't properly followed a season in much too long. I think they're doing OK this year so far?

  13. I like Liberator and his style of music - Madam Zu, Mark EG. . .the harder sounds. It's what I started listening to way back when, and what I heard at Toronto parties where they prefer more high energy music. But I can see why people who prefer clubs and the kind of DJ that gets booked for a club may not like that kind of music. I enjoyed Liberator's set at Buzz, but I must say it was not his best work. I've seen him a few times in Canada before and he's been much much better. Grandmaster Flash in the front room did suck mighty ass that night. Being trapped in there waiting for them to open the main room (and having an out-of-town friend who had never been to Buzz) started the night off on a horrible note. . .
