Ladies & Gents, I am going to make this one announcment here on this board. Will you please read it, tell your friends, post it on other boards, etc... I danny Tenaglia DO NOT operate like any other DJ or Promoter in this city. I am 100% completely happy at ARC/Vinyl and have zero intentions of ever leaving there. I am very excited about doing Thanksgiving eve at the Estate @ Limelight just as excited as I was last year to play for the first time ever at the Sound Factory. Richard Grant the owner was 100% on target and kept his part of our bargain and all went well. JP is still my boy, everything is still great well between all of us, and I hope to see him out there again if he is in town. The reason why I am writing this post is becuase I have had a situation with the Limleight when it last re-opened through past ownership, and they were extremely rude to my guest at the door. Which I then complained of this and never even started and immediately quit that day of Dec. 5th 1998. Of course we are doing everything in our power to make sure this does not happen ever again. We will have our Vinyl/Arc staff with us there to greet you, protect you and make sure that anyone using illegal substances will imediately be removed from the premises. So far, my meeting with the new owners went extremely well. They took me on a tour and I was very impressed with their changes and future ideas. I am hoping and praying that all goes smooth the day of our party and we can continue a possible working relationship together where I will do other special events there in the near future. Once again, that's if all goes well and everything that is and was promised to us comes through. We do not ask for much except for and mostly RESPECT to our clientele. YOU! I am begging anyone and everyone to please take note of anything they witness that would be considered shady or disrespectful. I am not asking for this post to set off DRAMA alerts, just asking people to help us have a party that is nothing more than the way it should be. If ANYONE arrives drunk or stoned, than the club has the right to refuse that person admission and I am 100% behind this policy. >> Music is the Drug...... remember? I was originally told that I have to stop at 8am, but this may not be the case and I may be able to play much longer. You all know me, I will not stop until the owner tells me to please wind it down and I will respect that request for obvious reasons. Once again, this will be (hopefully) my last post until we all gather there. We are NOT allowing various promoters to be involved as we do not need them. Between Arc/Vinyl, RobPromotions.com, Cheetah, Eric Ortense and friends, we do not need to have 3 pounds of baloney in a one pound bag. I want this to be a GREAT and comfortable party. The next post I will write will be exactly where tickets can be purchased in advance. So far, you can by tickets at ARC/Vinyl. Cheetah, Limelight will even have a place to purchase tickets in advance including the day of. There is a ticket web as well. Advance price is $40.00 More details to follow. Please remember! Rooftop day party IS ON!!!! for Sunday THE ROOFTOP JAM IS ON!!!!!! sunday october 20th @noon After careful consideration and constant weather watching, Sunny skies and temperatures in the upper 60's all day have led us to the roof this Sunday. The outlaw jam festival is on as planned. Noon til 10pm and then on to Cheetah for the after party. Rob Fernandez, Eric Ortense and James Zummeracca bring you the best of the underground dance movement...on a rooftop. DJ's Dan Barnes, Astroglyde, and a very special suprise guest (maybe two) will be gracing the decks all day. The JBL soundsystem will be running off a generator and this 27,ooo square foot concrete roof top will be transformed into a giant dancefloor that can hold about 1000 people. First come first serve,so get there early. This is a one time event so leave the bad energy at home and dress for the occasion. The sun goes down at 7pm so it may get a bit chilly. james will be selling be yourself hooded sweatshirts. Sneakers are recommended and if you would like to sit at some point, bring a beach chair. The roof is gravel and there will be a fence surrounding the entire perimeter of the roof. The safety factor is there. There will be various alcoholic and non alcohlic beverages provided and if you get hungry, there will be a barbecue grill heating things up all day. IF YOU OWN A DRUM...BRING IT ALONG TO JAM OUT WITH THE DJ'S AFTERWARDS IT'S ON TO CHEETAH FOR THE AFTERPARY!!!!!!! DIRECTIONS FOR BEST RESULTS TAKE THE L TRAIN FROM NYC The L train leaves from all points on 14th St. in the city. Take the L train to Brooklyn and get off at the Morgan St. stop. Walk upstairs and head straight up to the roof. The train stop is next to the building. By Car from NYC at Houston St. go to Bowery and head south to Delancy. Make a left on Delancy and go over the Williamsburg Bridge. Stay to the right side and take the outer roadway. Get off at the 2nd exit (BROAWAY EAST) NOT BROADWAY WEST!!! go straight ahead for 1 mile to Bushwick ave and make a right. Go about 4 blocks to Seigel St and make a left on Seigel. The building is at the end of the block. Corner of Seigel and Bogart. 315 Seigel St. By Car from Queens or Long Island Take the LIE rt 495 west to the BQE west. Exit at Meeker Morgan exit. Go to the 2nd light and make a left on Morgan Ave. Go straight for 1 mile and go right at the fork in the road. Make your first right on Johnson Ave and then first left on Bogart.
