  1. Check out Santiago. Kick-ass dj. who hasn't broken out yet in Miamii.

One of the top dj's all over Mexico(that's why he was always aked to open for the creme of the crop international dj's that came to Mexico). (Read above)

His mixing is flawless as well as the magic he creates with his unusual way of playing 2 records together.

    B there..

    or be square... Oscar.

  2. towards the last records of his set he played one that sounded

sort of a Janis joplin sample.....anybody know the name of the

Rmx, producer, label, etc.. thanks... oscar.

  3. Thanks to all that came out last sat. It was an amazing feeling to

have full house for the event. The club looked amazing from up

there esp. with everyone wearing the red blinking dot from the

bacardi thing. Thanks to the people and the sponsors who made

the event possible and to all the faces in the first rows... you

know who you are. Thanks. Oscar.

  4. i really can't believe it..... lee.... @ nerve. I've been waiting to

hear this guy in a small room since the day I was born basically...

In my opinion...there's no dj. that can step up to him....

his style is way beyond big rooms...... I think the soundsystem at

nerve will help us hear the details behind his records which are

mostly baseline led. Thanks to everyone making this possible.

    sincerely, oscar.

  5. I have no residencies......no place to play really........and thats the

story.... If I had a team of promoters behind me I would be

playing everytime they have a party, and that's not so.

There are no promoters helping me for the competition, I doubt

there will be any at the spin-off's either. As far as Carlos

supporting me, well he likes my style and we kiicked-off as a good

team from the first party he through with me. Freddy... never

even liked my music and has never promoted me (just his party). carlos+freddy don't even work together anymore!

As far as lots of friends being there for me to vote at the spin-offs,

    maybe I'll have 2-3 tops.

  6. Luis Diaz @ Living Room Downtown........ he didn't match beats

the entire night. I mean, every song either ended and the music

stopped, or he would trainwreck from one record to the other.

I didn't hear 1 good mix the entire night. Looked like he was in a

k-hole or drunk off his arse....1 of the 2. I know he's a good dj.

and everything....but this night he was like a prank for anyone

who was at that club. They had to take him off the turntables.

  7. how's this for a formula.....

1)play your style of music......just play lower bpm's than what is

going to be played later. 2)try to get the crowd moving(warmed up)

with tracks that don't build that much but still work nicely on the

floor. 3) Leave the house volume to a level where the dj. can add

some watts to the house once he feels like it. 4) And last but not

least, do some fuckn' research of who the hell your'e opening up

for (try to go a bit out of your way to play music that is

convenient for the crowd that evening and that might inspire the

headliner to play his own style). A good opening set for me

sets everything up for the whole club, without one the night is

    just "half-ass".

I think roly did a good job opening for howells a couple of weeks ago.

  8. I went to the last party they threw @ B.E.D and seriously, the place

was packed with a good looking crowd and the music was

much much better than the last time I was at bed (saed & palash).

These guys are off to a good start. They asked me to play at their

party a couple of weeks ago at Luna and the place was pretty

packed! Never thought I'd have a full dancefloor at Luna!

Looked like a complete different place with actual people inside.

Recommend this event to anyone looking to having a low key

saturday night party with good tunes and an exelent crowd

without all the glam freaks. (still a good looking crowd)

Peace... and see you there..... oscar

  9. Oscar Fonseca playing a 4hr set from 11pm->3am along residents

Franchesco Cianci and Luis Avila. Believe it or not this is a party

that has been going on for a couple of months un-noticed.

Cianci and Avila are 2 Colombian dj's that have been throwing

parties there for a crowd that follows them everywhere they play.

Last Sat. their party @ B.E.D was packed with a great turnout of

good looking faces, music, and attitude. Nelson Diaz often

plays along them and let me tell you they had the house rockin'.

So if your'e boared of the same ol' thang, come to Luna and

enjoy a night of complete different tunes. You won't be

    dissapointed!
