    Rene Amesz - Fragile

That is not what I meant. Check out these bad boy remixes and maybe you will think otherwise. Both the Chris Lake and the Original break mix go well with each other. Like I said....I'm fuckin loving it!!!!!!
  3. Rene Amesz - Fragile Sander Kleinenberg's Little Mountain Recordings is a label I've found to be quite hit and miss in the past. I never know quite what to expect from their next release in terms of quality. With Rene Amesz's 'Fragile', the first thing one may notice is the absence of the Original Mix. Available as a limited one sided promo some time back, it would have been nice to see it given a proper release, given how amazing the track was. So we are presented with what is in fact a remix disc here. The first mix comes from the "Underground Movement outfit", which consists of Rene Amesz himself alongside Peter Gelderblom. It's a chugging 4/4 track with some gritty percussion which is trademark of Underground Movement. The vocal is stripped right back, and only appears in heavily filtered snippets. The repetition of the line "so fragile" when passed through some heavy filtering got on my nerves after a while, and killed the overall mood of the track for me. If you dig a heavy sound, you might find this mix attractive, but it just wasn't polished enough for my liking. However Chris Lake provides a refreshing 4/4 take on the original. The percussion is very reminiscent of his recent stormer 'Changes', and a new bassline gives the track a much brighter feel than the flipside. Again the vocal is not fully utilised, but the snippets which are used are scattered tastefully across the composition, and work themselves in well. Lake has added many of his own elements to the track, making it very much his own, whilst still being able to recognize elements from the Original. Whilst this remix doesn't come anywhere close to the Original, I could really appreciate seeing the track take a very different direction. When hearing that 'Fragile' had been picked up for release, I was really looking forward to hearing some strong remixes. The mixes presented here weren't quite what I had in mind, but the Chris Lake Mix is certainly worth a listen. For those of you who aren't familiar with the Original Mix, I strongly urge you to try and track down a copy, as it is perhaps one of Rene Amesz's finest tracks to date, and I am a big fan of most of his work!
  4. One of the reasons I respect our Prez so much. In my life time I have not seen any other US President take soooo much shit, lies and conspiracies yet still stand tall for us. Many of us have our own methods of judging someone's character and my Judgment from day one told me he is an honorable man and will use the Power that we have inherited to help us and others who are less fortunate. I hear him speak and I believe him! I was once told "if something sounds to far fetched then it probably is". These past years have proven that statement to be right. No one likes war! Way to expensive and loves one are lost. But to sit back knowing you have the ability to make someone's life better and yet do nothing is simply not may way of living life. I'm glad it wasn't my Presidents way as well. I hope and look forward years from now when our kids will speak about the tough times which at the end brought us new allies. That said, Japan, Germany and Russia ring a bell. From enemies to allies via Democracy. Disclaimer: This is just my opinion !!!!!!

  10. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/asia-pacific/4605202.stm Scientists in Taiwan say they have bred three pigs that glow in the dark. They claim that while other researchers have bred partly fluorescent pigs, theirs are the only pigs in the world which are green through and through. The pigs are transgenic, created by adding genetic material from jellyfish into a normal pig embryo. The researchers hope the pigs will boost the island's stem cell research, as well as helping with the study of human disease. The researchers, from National Taiwan University's Department of Animal Science and Technology, say that although the pigs glow, they are otherwise no different from any others. Taiwan is not claiming a world first. Others have bred partially fluorescent pigs before. But the researchers insist the three pigs they have produced are better. In daylight, their eyes and skin are green-tinged They are the only ones that are green from the inside out. Even their heart and internal organs are green, they say. To create them, DNA from jellyfish was added to about 265 pig embryos which were implanted in eight different pigs. Four of the pigs became pregnant and three male piglets were born three months ago. Green generation In daylight the researchers say the pigs' eyes, teeth and trotters look green. Their skin has a greenish tinge. In the dark, shine a blue light on them and they glow torch-light bright. The scientists will use the transgenic pigs to study human disease. Because the pig's genetic material is green, it is easy to spot. So if, for instance, some of its stem cells are injected into another animal, scientists can track how they develop without the need for a biopsy or invasive test. But creating them has not been easy. Many of the altered embryos failed to develop. The researchers say they hope the new, green pigs will mate with ordinary female pigs to create a new generation - much greater numbers of transgenic pigs for use in research.

    costa rica anyone?

If you stay in the Capital of San Jose then make sure to check out "Club Vertigo". It is a very nice place with an extremely good sound system. Their bottle services is cheap and exceptionally friendly. This is THE BEST club in San Jose in my opinions. While you are in San Jose I would also recommend to check out the "Marlin Bar" in the "Hotel Rey". http://www.vertigocr.com/ If you like to surf then make sure to visit "Jaco Beach" which is like two hours away via car.
  19. Received a bunch of new promo vinyl's today from Belgium, Australia, UK, France, Greece and Spain so definitely going to be a night full of fresh progressive tunes.
